Well bought myself a new M&P 9L and picked up a Vortex 6MOA Viper Reflex sight. Not impressed. Lock screws don't loc windage and elevation screw totally loose and no moa click to adjust. I am blind LOL so I need the click/feel. So it's on it way back to Vortex for the VIP warranty service ... lets see how that works out. In the meantime I bought a Trijicon RMR Type 2 Adjustable 3.25MOA I am expecting good things. SO I might be having a Vortex Viper Reflex for sale... (When it's fixed) Anyone else have issues with the Vortex Viper??
I'm finally going to add a red dot to my Sig MPX. I'm leaning towards the one of the Holosun models but I really don't have any experience with this. Is there a reason why I should pay $30 more for the orange lens over a yellow lens? Should I pay more to get the solar panel on top? https://www.opticsplanet.com/holosun-paralow-hs403a-red-dot.html I'm open to other suggestions as well.
I apologize if this is the wrong section, i'm new here... I didn't see and haven't found a deals section yet... http://www.cabelas.com/product/TRIJICON-RMR-LED-SIGHT/2053594.uts?slotId=2 I just got this sight for $216 Here is how... Giftcardzen.com has electronic gift cards that are %14 off. so buy $300 in gift cards. they'll arrive in your inbox in 30 mins to an hr https://giftcardzen.com/ Sign up here at active junky that gives you %6 off of cabelas and many % off of a lot of other websites (but you have access the cabelas website through active junky) https://www.activejunky.com/invite/201629 Go here to get $20 off your order for an email http://couponconnections.com/20-off-200-at-cabelas/ I know its a lot of work but you can get the RMR for $216 the breakdown... $290 - $20 = 270 270 * 6% cash back at active junky... and 14% at giftcardzen.com gives you 20% off... which puts it down 216 I'm sure these wont last long since its on slick guns now... but good luck! Update: if anyone wants the RM07 its onsale for 349 (all the same percentages work). Should bring it down around $275 out the door
I recently got my first AR pistol in .223/5.56, 8.5" palmetto State armory with a melonite barrel to be exact. However I'm having trouble sighting it in at less than 50 yards. I tried some cheap flip up irons and a sight mark red dot. Since then I've put a laser and wrote it off as a hip fire spray and pray fun gun. Next I bought a Palmetto AR 9 10.5" barrel that accepts Glock mags. I mounted the same two sights to it and could not zero them on this set up either. I recently ordered some MBUS sights and a bore sight to see if that helps. What would be your preferred red dot? I would like to not splurge on a EoTech but still have something reliable. The more low profile the better also.
