Gun magazines in PDF form?

I haven’t read a magazine in years. I find most of what I want is on the net.

But this looks kinda interesting..

Any of you buy magazines in PDF form? How do they keep them from being copied all over the net? Do you need some special "Reader"?

I've never purchased and pdf formatted magazines, but I have several I've downloaded off of the interwebs. So I guess you can't keep all of them from being copied. They are vintage, or simply old gun mags, but I enjoy reading them nonetheless.

I have Adobe on this laptop and on my phone. I've sent a few to my Kindle via Amazon (there's instructions on their site).

But I am seriously "technologically challenged" and have no idea how to post the pdf's to a forum format or if it would even be the right thing to do. Copyrights and all.
