ad closed WTB: Savage .223 barrel

Standard, small shank. Really want a standard, sporter barrel, any external condition. Bore & chamber, obviously, have to be good. Stainless, blue or flat black; don't care. Shortened, threaded, or messed about with doesn't matter.

I've found a few on ebay, but I don't want to pay 'new Axis' price for a used, take off tube.

I will have a standard sporter profile 308 Winchester available here shortly for sale, but its probably to short for what you would want. It's a 15" off of a Savage Striker pistol. I'm building it into either a 6.5 Grendel or 6mm ARC pistol...can't decide which yet.

Yeah, too short & wrong caliber. 

I just want a replacement for the heavy, 22" bull barrel on my Axis with a lighter sporter profile. 

If I can't find one dirt cheap, i'm considering selling or trading the rifle for a cheap Ruger American.
