What is to keep them from setting off the primer in the round in front of it?

I would like to know as I am in the works for a Marlin model 1884 in .357.:ugh:

The tip is polymer. The tip is not hard enough to set off the primer. They are made specifically for a lever action. If you got a lever gun in .357, I think you'll be tickled with this load. Lemme tell ya, in my SP101, recoil is STOUT! In a rifle, it would be too sweet. I'm surprised it's not labeled +p, I've shot other .357 loads in my Ruger, none of which pounds my wrists like these. I like it!!:ugh:

Astra....just out of curiosity, have you ever taken any chronograph numbers on them out of that short barrel? I'm kind of surprised they do so well in a pistol, I would have thought they would use a slow burning powder considering they expect them to be used in long barrels. Apparently they do fine though...lol.

No access to a chrono, sorry.

I thought about that, when I initially decided to give them a try. They group tight and at 15 yards, will bust through a 3" thick white oak board and make toothpicks on the other end. I managed to find one bullet, it was peeled back pretty good, but all there. No frag.
