Finally Bought an Optic

Recommended Posts

Picked up an EOTech 511 at Brigade Quartermaster at the Fort Campbell, KY Post Exchange. Listed price was $369, but was 25% off, so I paid $281 for it.

My wife, Dee, played with it a bit, and after realizing what I wanted it for told me to get it. She's cool that way!

I had my eye on a $900 Dragunov SVD rifle w/ scope. A bit pricey for me, but Dee told me if I really wanted it to buy the rifle. As much as I want it, it was just enough for me to know that she was good with it.

The EOTech I didn't have, and could use on my M4. Will eventually work my way to an ACOG for my Sig Sauer 5.56.

Dee has had no issue with me buying 3 semi-auto rifles and a shotgun in the last three months, as well as buying up ammo when Walmart gets it in. Two weks ago I came into 5 100-round boxes of .380. Dee asked me how many I wanted .. When I quietly said "all of them?" She siad 'no problem ... grab them if you need them.'

She's the best!
