La Rue/LaRue Mount Question

Recommended Posts

I am finishing up my AR build and was wondering which LaRue mount I will need. I am putting a Leupold Mark 4 LR/T 4.5-14x50mm scope on it. I haven't decided if I want the illuminated reticle yet. My AR has the Magpul PRS stock.

My question is which 30mm LaRue mount would be best suited for this AR & scope combo(allowing the best palcement for eye relief):

the LT-104

LaRue Tactical SPR / M4 Scope Mount QD LT-104

or

the LT-139

LaRue Tactical SPR-E LT-139?

Also, will the mount be high enough to allow clearance for the 50mm objective lense? The Leupold scope ring guide recommends "super high" height rings.

Any thoughts or experience with these mounts?

If you buy the scope and mounts as a combo from LaRue, it comes with the LT-104 mount.

Well hey, that answers that. ;) I never got out of the mounts section. Now that I look at their combo package, they are charging more for the scope. I found found the same scope for $200+ cheaper with free shipping.
