My nefew. He has 6 now, I set him up with a Russian M-44 last weekend that my best friend wanted to sell.

He's in the middle with his girlfriend and her brother.

I told him he should have said "Ready Aim Fire"

Awesome......You can not beat a day of shooting milsurp rifles!

He also said he bought a couple of spam cans of ammo at the show last weekend and we are going to the range at the Cheatham Game Reserve soon and shoot Mosin's till our shoulder's turn blue. ;)

Without a proper Nancy Pad those shoulders will be beat to a pulp with a quickness. I mean one of these....

You can shoot all day long with this thing. It also adds about 1" of length to the stock.

There's no need to punch your man card either. Most accept it as a necessary accessory.

My nefew wouldn't want to modify his Mosin's in any way but after a disc removal in my neck i've been thinking about a shoulder recoil absorbing pad. The pad for the Mosin does look like it would take the sting out of recoil.

(edit): Thinking about that recoil pad, it wouldn't be any permanant modification though.
