Pistol rack for my safe

Recommended Posts

I skipped the gun show today because of the weather so I decided to address the clutter in my gun safe. I took a piece of scrap oak and some felt and spray adhesive and came up with this. I'm pretty happy with it. It slides in and out pretty easily and keeps my guns from laying all over each other.

I would have put the cuts for the gun rest on the opposite sides so you could have 6 pistols instead of 3.

Or flip the center gun around with the other two and make the end piece another of the grooved barrel rests. 6 pistolas, no problemo.

A lil peg board covered in carpet. The left hanger is temporary. The right is a dish towel holder I picked up somewhere. Plus my first attempt at sewing the pistol holders with velcro.

Back of safe door?...Did it come like that or did you make it?...My safe is smaller and I never looked in the bigger safes.
