HEY TGO MEMBERS:

I bought a Gunny's gift certificate for a friend of mine Saturday and noticed that they were allowing ladies to shoot free tomorrow and Tuesday (open 11am to 7pm). In case you aren't familiar with Gunnys', here's their website:

Gunnys Indoor Shooting Range

Gunny's is unique for east TN in that it allows you to shoot your ARs indoors! Their indoor facility is very well lighted , well ventilated, and it's warm. The largest calibers they allow are 308s and 30-06s. Normally, it costs $18 per person, $8 each additional person up to 3 shooters per lane.

I plan to do some shooting myself -- invite your lady to join you and go do some shooting! :stare:

I haven't been there since early January. My intention is not to turn this into another bash thread but SERIOUSLY... $18/$8. So hours are cut back to where I can't go there after work through the week and they raise their prices! I hope someone from Gunny's reads this thread... and takes a look at their business model.

Hey tyguy! Another GSD owner in Maryville!? Cool! I agree though. The first time we went to Gunny's it was $15/$7.50 (not sure on the second one but the first was $15). Went back over Valentine's Day weekend and noticed the prices had gone up. At least I got to shoot free that day, and they did give hubby the discounted second shooter price instead of charging him full price. I really like the staff there, but it's getting too expensive. Thinking next time we may hop down to Vonore. Hubby and I took our HCP class down there at Farnsworths (they charge $60 compared to $85 @ Gunny's). Their range is smaller (only 6 stalls) but they only charge $5 for 30 minutes with 1 free target. Most of the folks I've talked to that shoot there say they never actually time you while your in there, so they're never charged more than the $5!

I'd actually like to find a nice outdoor range that'll let us shoot our pistols and rifles once the weather warms up.. know of any in the area?
