Well I finally made it to Bills today. Fondled a bunch of guns. :D Me a bunch of very helpful guys. and the best part was 2 guns I was looking at 1 was 20 bucks loswer and the other was 44 bucks lower. Didn't have the cash today but I do see a return visit in my very near future. :D

What time were you there? I was there today picking up my gun from there since I used them for FFL transfer. Was there around 2-230pm.

It was right at 10am.

I must have just missed you. I was in there for some show and tell. I uncovered my great grandfather's 1930 - ish single shot bolt action 22. JC Higging. Non serial number. And my 410 that he gave me when I was 7.

Thats another good thing about the guys up there. They love a good show and tell session and can give you info on stuff if you dont know it. Good people

I had a handgun transferred in using Bill's. They handled it great and didn't waste any time sending a copy of their FFL to the seller; in fact, they actually e-mailed it while I was on the phone with them when I called to see if they could send it by e-mail. There is a Henry US Survival .22 rifle hanging on their wall that I have been spying. I may have to break down and grab it.

which one is bob?

he is the older guy....he and my father in law are always ragging each other. Bob is a DIE HARD Springfield guy, and not a fan of Glocks AT ALL.

Next time your in there, give him a hard time about how AWESOME Glocks are, especially over Springfields!!! ha ha ha...

He will talk over you and tell you how he can hit a torso at 100 yards with the XD Tactical (which he really can,but still) !!!!

Tell him Seth said to do it....

oh THAT guy. :tough: He's the same guy who told me he doesn't carry a round in the chamber of his XD because he is quick enough to load it if he needs to. He then proceeded to show me right there in the store how "fast" he was. When I mentioned that I was looking at a few guns for my GF he went on an on about how I should get her something like the SP101...... If I want advice like that I'll start asking at the gun shows.

Bob is "old school" and a little different at times, but he is a good one. Very set in his ways though. Good ole Bob.
