Several good Cue joints in Knoxville, My two favorites are Dixon's because they have the sauce from the infamous, now defunct Brother Jack's; followed 2nd by Scruggs. Neither is a place you would want to eat in, just get your grub and if it's dark get the hell back in your car and lock the doors. As far as eating in, it's hard to beat Calhouns or Deadend

Scruggs is my numero uno.

How could I not know about Dixon's, wow. Will check it out. Looks like they do the old Brother Jack's schedule too, start cookin' on Thursday, start serving on Thurs afternoon, Fri and Sat, and when it's gone, it's gone.

Way back when, I was a regular at Brother Jack's, especially the wee hour batch on weekends after the bars closed.

In maryville Tn there is Two places one is Full Service BBQ It is in the service station type of service and its good, The other is (Bread of Heven and it is BBQ to realy talk about its smoked with Peach wood and did I say it is good... What part of norris Lake are you all going too, I live on the lake just past Norris Dame,

Hog Heaven right off West End Ave. at Centennial Park is some of the best BBQ in Nashville.
