Best place to get a transfer in Middle TN

Hi All,

I'm thinking about buying a gun or two online, never done this before so am a bit nervous. Wondering if anyone can recommend a good place to get a transfer in and around Nashville, and the best price as well. Looks like the lowest I've found is $35-40 for the transfer. Thanks in advance!

That's cheaper than my LGS (Specialty Arms in La Vergne) charges. They want $50, which I refuse to pay. At those prices plus shipping, I seldom see any savings over buying directly from the LGS.

Guns & Leather in Greenbrier and soon Hendersonville is who I use. It may be a few dollars cheaper somewhere else but you won't find a more knowledgeable and friendly group.

We do them for $25 plus the $10 tics... so thats $35 out the door.

$25+10 is common around Nashville and I wouldn't go to a place that charges more... like some in Franklin that charge $50 or $75-$100 for a new firearm.

The cheapest transfer is Phil at Bellshire Guns.

Capitol Hill Pawn is $10 plus $10 tics. It's a pawn shop just off I-40 downtown, so expect some attitude and to explain to them EXACTLY what you want them to do. But they have done a transfer or two for me and it went well.

I'm goin' with Guns and Leather for my upcoming first internet firearm purchase. I just like their hours more then anything else. It's nice to know that if I have to work a day shift I'll still be able to stop by and pick it up.
