Some 10mm I shot this morning

Never use any load data except from a manual or company loading web site for their products.

Just have 50 pieces of Rem nickled brass, used IMR Hi-Skor 800-X powder and CCI #300 LPP.

A good mild load was Hornady HP/XTP 200gr JHP over 7.5gr of powder. Felt like a standard factory 40 S&W 180gr load.

A little warmer and accurate was Hornady 180gr JHP over 8.5gr of powder.

The next 2 were quite warm and accurate,

Rainier 165gr FP over 9.2gr of powder.

Rainier 155gr over 9.5gr of powder.

None of the above were max based on Hodgdons load data web site.

The firearm was a new Glock 20SF, stock.

I like the 40 S&W but the 10mm has rung my bell and I love it! ;)

Welcome to the "10mm Sickness"

if you hand load comparing the .40 vs. 10mm is like .38 vs. .357 however most folks experience is with factory loadings which make them look like "twin sons of different mothers"

I can make my 10 do anything a .40 can do for about the same price... oh,.wait I can make 200gr. bullets go very fast....yeah I can do that too...

Maybe I shouldn't say how fast I got a 135gr. JHP moving...LOL

Nothing quite like the feeling of a nice hot 10mm going off in your hands.

+!

Just make sure you are facing the direction of the earth's rotation. If not you might cause the earth to cease rotation. :)
