I always liked spurrier a lot better. Sure, Meyer won like crazy but for entertainment value (and that is what sports is) no one beat spurrier. I'm a vols fan but as long as we're getting beat by florida I'll prefer a more entertaining coach laying the smack down.

Could it be because he always fiqured out how to win ?

or his sarcastic sense of humor which I found funny ?

I wonder how devoted Vol fans would have been if had coached here

I am a big Vol fan but find myself rooting for Spurrier since he's been at SC

Dan Mullen was the magic behind Meyer. When Mullen left the offensive production dropped of 15 points a game and 100 yards per game. And that was with Tebow to cover up Adazzio's dumb play calling. After Tebow was gone Meyer was exposed without him and Mullen. He had the best talent in the SEC and he couldn't even figure out how to snap the ball.
