My wife and I sent in our apps and got fingerprinted on 6-06-11 and we both got our permits in todays mail. Looks like it's time for a Wally Walk.

Submitted my app on the 1st. Got a call from the drivers license people (do you guys call that a DMV?) on the 5th that they lost the photocopy of my out of state permit. After all the hassle and issues with my birth certificate, I have no confidence I'll actually get my TN permit anytime soon. I just hope they don't reject it and make me pay again.

two months ago I recievied mine in 20 days and thoght that was pretty quick, maybe there are less applicants these days.... a couple years ago the wait was measured in months instead of days lol.

Outstanding! When I got my card in Michigan in 2001, it took 4+ months. My wife waited 13 months for hers. Fortunately they issued temp permits after a 30 day wait, but that didn't happen until several months after the law took effect and they saw they had a serious problem. Typical for Detroit. :)
