TWO July IDPA Matches in Bowling Green, KY

The Green River Gun Club in Bowling Green, KY will be having two IDPA matches in July.

July 23rd - Five stage pistol match + two stage rifle side match

July 30th - IDPA classifier + two stage rifle side match

Okay, I have been to some three guns, but never an "IDPA" style match. I think I need a cover garment? Is that just a shirt that covers my pistol? I think I am going to be able to make it, so I do not want to forget something that everyone else knows is standard.

Yes, a shirt or vest that covers your pistol and reloads is the "cover garment". Different clubs may or may not enforce the cover requirement at their matches, especially if it's hot.
