My daughter in the 2011 POW WOW

My daughter danced in her 1st Pow Wow this past weekend. She is 6 and had me make her dress. I circled her in red because I had the hardest time getting a closer photo. She was right amongst it the whole time. Anyone who hasn't attended one of these definitely should do so.

I like seeing this. I REALLY do. With all the cowboy action shooting (and the pride in that lifestyle) going on nowadays I like to see how beautiful the things the white man murdered/destroyed were.

I should have more pics Friday...my wife is transferring them off the camera. This one was good, but the one in Mt Juliet a few weeks ago was better. Less people there and more dancers. She did so good that next year she is going to enter the competition. More pics to follow....
