Any Rifle Shooters This Weekend?

I'm thinking about getting a rifle for target/range use. The chances of any hunting are probably very minimal. I don't currently have a rifle, and honestly, I know very little about them. I've had very minimal rifle experience.

I'm trying to find someone/people who will be shooting during a weekend in the near future. I'd like to come out (not get in your way) to familiarize myself with what type of rifle would be best for my needs. Just to get an idea about the whole rifle world, and soak up some much needed knowledge.

i'm thinking of going to stones river after work on friday. i'va had this funny black rifle collecting dust waiting to be fired for the past month. reckon i'll warm it up friday a little, weather dependent. your welcome to blast some rounds as well.

If you can make the Middle Tennessee Meet that I think is going to happen the 26th I am sure several of us can bring out a rifle. I can bring my single shot Handi-Rifle and you can see if like the slow and deliberate bench type shooting and if someone brings and AR you can see if you are the semi auto throw some rounds down range sort of fellow.
