After some internet research I've decided to go with the SilencerCo Sparrow for my first NFA purchase. I've heard and read nothing but great things about them. Anyone with personal experience with it have any reason I shouldn't go with the Sparrow?

I have a reason...it will only make you want to buy more and more NFA items!

With that being my only gripe, GO AHEAD WITH THE PURCHASE!

The Sparrow, both aluminum and stainless, does have an issue with having a first round pop. Not bad but it is still there. It is because of the monocore design. To mitigate it you can use suppressor gel. Or if you are cheap like me you can use clear wire pulling gell from Home Depot. I bought a $6 bottlr last year and I still have 3/4 left.

But, without a doubt if I were buying a 22 suppressor it would be the stainless Sparrow. It may not be as quiet as mine but it is also a lot smaller than mine as well as being a lot easier to clean than mine.

On a side note I have a manufactuer wanting to use my baffle design in his can. It isn;t anything unique but it works extremely well.

Congrats on that Gordon, having shot your suppressor I know exactly how well it works. In fact, your setup is part of what inspired me to get off my butt and get this process moving.
