As I hope to move to your state eventually, I figured this would be a good place to perhaps ask a few questions to a few like-minded individuals. I'll probably be posting more in another forum.

However, I'm a former marine, currently in the army reserves, and shoot USPSA when I'm not busy working to the point of no life. Now the cold arctic air is moving in, so the shooting sport is shut down for another 7-8 months. So is motorcycle riding. I need to move from Minnesota because after my family left here, I've been trying to think about what I actually like about Minnesota. In short, the answer is nothing. However, I've been researching TN and have been quite interested in it. Anyhow, I hope to just kind of try to connect with some folks in a state to which I'm very interested in moving. It will be a pleasure to meet you. Sort of.

Welcome, from a former Minnesotan! I moved to TN 15 years ago.

What part of TN are you looking to move to?

I'd like to move to the surrounding areas of Chattanooga or Knoxville, but with some land to call my own.

That's one of the best reasons to move from anywhere and you can definitely do a lot worse than Tennessee. :)

Glad to have you with us.
