violence in a world without guns

This.^^

I think a lot of antis have the misconception that getting rid of guns will solve the violence problem. This is of course false, humans by nature are an incredibly violent species, in the days before guns there was still much violence and while I've never seen some shot I can't imagine it being more horrific than seeing someone hacked to death with a machete of bludgeoned with a pipe.
Beat down with a cactus? That sounds absolutely awful for everyone involved.

The bottom line is until we ban baseball bats, knifes, screwdrivers, 2x4s, cacti, shovels, hammers, cars, bricks, sticks, chains, socks full of quarters, etc. there will always be violence and there will always be victims.

Personaly, I'll do my best to keep myself from being a victim with the best possible tools at my disposal. In this case we all know what that is.
