Recommended Posts

Pretty cool setup, handful of vendors, the prize tables were unbelievable. I guess they help offset the cost of entry for those that work hard enough to finish on top.. Chatted w some helpful friendly folks... Am looking forward to getting wet in 3 gun!!! Just when I thought shooting skeet at NGC was fun!!!! Edited by Dustbuster

You need to check out the Blue Ridge next.  It is not as festive or big since there is no AM side but it is a great match and my favorite.  The Pro Am is like a drag car race.  The Blue Ridge is NASCAR.

Hey DBTN,

How did you do @ Rockcastle?

Mark

Well?

also just as a note, blue ridge is a much harder match and should be full. trust me. but as long you will not intimidated by it go for it. and get some practice running up hill.  DBTN you must love the challenge!  are you doing Big Hamp's match in Dec

and have fun.

I love the challenge and the fact that the past two Blue Ridge matches have been my best.  Yes, I will be at the match in Dec.  Looking forward to it.

63rd.  About the same as last year.  I crashed and burned big time on stage two, was 220th on it.  Had I shot it conservatively, I would have placed in the upper 30's.  That's the nature of the game.  Hade two stages were one bad shot moved me over 50 positions for the stage.  It was still fun.  I am just ready to go from 30-50 second stages of the Pro Am to the 1-3 minute stages of the Blue Ridge.

The Blue Ridge is a dang Cross Country, Orienteering Meet with firearms.  They must of done a far better job on your knee than the Army did on mine if you are looking forward to it.   :D

Just now found the scores on ARFCOM.   http://www.lchico5u.com/ProAmResults.html

I can see what you are talking about in regard to stage 2.

But if it was me - - -  I'd be talking Big SH*T about beating Todd Jarrett on a couple of the stages.  Well Done DBTN!
