Eotech G33 are they worth the money?

Recommended Posts

All of the reviews from Amazon are excellent.  I personally, have no experience with them.  From reading this morning there is a G45 set to release soon.  Not sure of your price range, but Optics Planet has them for ~$520, usually with free shipping and no sales tax. If you will watch Optics Planet, you can get a 10% of coupon every now and then.  Maybe like them on FB, or sign up for email deals, usually new people will get the 10% coupon.  I have snagged some good deals on my Eotechs and Aimpoints this way in the past, and Optics Planet is usually has the best price, and I think is an official retailer for those items.  Have to be careful on the internet due to fakes, stay away from ebay.

Well, I got a Tavor, and I was planning to put my eotech on it, but then I also wanted some magnification... But adding an eotech and magnifier will make the tavor heavier than I wanted, so now I don't know whether to get a G33 or to go with a completely different optic...

The ounces won't matter when you realize you are getting the best of quick reactionary short distance shots versus clear and accurate long distance target ID and shot placement.

It is the only sight system I used with both eyes open without the magnifier that consistently performs as advertised.

If the situation doesn't call for it, I unclip it from the rail and stick it in my pocket, it really is as simple as that. Three seconds to remove, five seconds to install.

The scopes I own are useless under 50 yards and marginal at a hundred. Great for making tiny groups, not that great for real life situations.

FWIW, I own several Eotechs.
