I know many don't like to speak of this, but it is a fact for all of mankind. The Bible says, "Every Knee will Bow before Christ." That means Yours and Mine. Do it in this realm, one is ok by faith, in the next realm, too late. Just come home from our nephew's funeral in Montgomery Alabama. He was our first extended family death, "Before His Time" we have experienced. Mark was 64. His death was totally unexpected. He had heart problems from about 18. May have had problems before that, but he found out, in the military, for sure. It was so bad they discharged him out of basic training. He entered training for the "Blue Beret" wing of the Air Force. The training was very strenuous. That is where he found out he had Heart problems. His wife and family are devastated. As we sat in the church yesterday, and saw all the people she had to greet, it was hard. He had 3 boys, one of which was killed in a stupid road rage situation, not his fault. Their son was 31. He was a passenger in a car and was thrown out and killed last year. His mother lost him and now her husband of 35 years. I was sitting there thinking, one had better be ready to meet God and Jesus, "NOW", because we are not knowing when our number will be called. Mark was a Christian. That is the only comfort his wife and family can gain from this situation. The son was a Christian also. Are you guys ready to go? I am. If not, you need to find Jesus and become a faithful follower of Him. Judgment is real and will be faced by all, in the next realm. "The Realm Of Departed Spirits." Learn about it from the pages of the/your Holy Bible. "It is truth, Guys!" Edited to add: Read about our impending death in (Luke 16:19-31) It is red letter text, straight from Jesus Christ words, recorded for us in Luke. That will be our next realm should Jesus not come back to earth before we meet our death first.

Around 18/20 degrees but I do most of the sharpening on my 2X72 grinder and then use a strop. Easiest way I've found is use a diamond stone and strop to keep them sharp. I don't have a clue about the commercial knife sharpeners but I'm confident it would work on D-2 steel.

I’ll take it

Dang these are tempting GT. There's not a day that goes by where I don't use a kitchen knife. What is the suggested method for keeping a sharp edge and what angle are they ground on ? I use a commercial kitchen sharpener that does a double bevel edge.

My understanding with Remoil is it dries and leaves a light graphite film on moving parts. The graphite is very slick. I use it for about 10 years, years back, with no problems, but did remember some chatter about it not being good for guns. When teaching newbies, I always want the pistols and revolvers to run so I give them a little squirt, the day prior, before going out to the range. That is my purpose for the dryer Remoil. CLP always runs out and I need to wipe them down and it still gets on their hands as they fire. Could use grease but would need to break the pistols down. I don't do deep cleanings every time I take them to the range.

I just purchased the Ruge Bodyguard a couple months ago. Really like it but have reservations on the 380 caliber. I use it for backup weak side pocket when on RV trips. AS I have stated earlier fuel stops can get dangerous. I will not purchase an RMX until it has been out for a while just to see if there are any bugs in the pistol. Just don't like to purchase a new model of anything. That does not stop me from wanting one though. I eventually will purchase an RMX but intent to give it time to mature. I like Ruger pistols and rifles. You guys are right Gen 2's usually fix problems of Gen 1's.

what he said above. I'm glad I'm not the only one who keeps seeing these forsale adds in the wrong section. Good Grief Charlie Brown.

I have an unfired .32 fed mag Taurus if you might be interested. -
I found free bamboo in Oxford, MS on marketplace. Cut it when it's cooler. Need a few workers, trucks, trailers, chain saws, copper and or aluminum wire for bundling. Use the bamboo for lake habitat. Grenada lake has theirs in December. Enid has theirs the first Saturday of February. No word about Sardis, Butla is out as far as I know. Marketplace - Bamboo | Facebook

Grand Torino started following D-2 Chef Knives
-
Let me start off with saying if you feel unable or unwilling to do the following care instructions then these aren't for you. Care Instructions 1. Keep your knife clean after each use. 2. You can wash your knife with soapy water. 3. Immediately dry off the knife. 4. Apply mineral oil or vegetable oil after use for long lasting results. 5. NEVER PUT YOUR KNIFE IN THE DISHWASHER!!! Made from 1/8" thick D-2 steel. Rockwell hardness is 58-60. They have camel bone and G10 handles. I'm not providing a block with these as one of the magnetic style blocks would be best. Your home and style and price range depends on what block you'd like. The magnetic blocks are all over Amazon, Ebay and o places. Price is $225 shipped for the set. I will only sell as a set.
