  1. I like the black stainless and the trigger is way better on the M&P and I guess just the over all fit and finish. Not that there is anything wrong with the PT145. I would not be afraid to carry it. It's a great gun but there is a reason one costs more than the other. That is just my opinion.
  2. I have a PT145 Mil Pro. It runs like clock work and fits my hand just right. The trigger is the only thing I have against it but I did get used to it. It's never given me any problems. If I did not have a S&W M&P40C the PT145 would be my main carry gun.
  3. Great stuff but sad and so true.
  4. I also carry the 40c and love it. I don't think you can go wrong with it. Does S&W still have the rebate on these???
  5. It's great to read a positive story like this. I think a lot of people are tired of the crime and are slowly coming around. Maybe not arm them selves in all cases but they respect peoples decision and right to protect them selves.
  6. On my regular job it is not allowed and I don,t feel the need to carry so I'm OK there. When I am on my side business which is service related I always carry.

  8. I'll have to agree with this. I do not want to leave a good weapon in the truck but would not worry much if anything happened to a hi-point. They are good guns. My sons have one each. They are cheap but they shoot every time.
  9. Thats really a great story and I can understand that being a special day for you.
  10. Boating and geocaching. Combining the two and geocaching from a boat is the ultimate in fun for me.
  11. I have a PF9 and love it. I carry it more in the summer than the winter when I carry a larger gun. I have over 300 rounds through it without a hicup. The ejector roll pin is walking toward the hammer. This has been one of the problems some of them had. The newer ones have a new frame that blocks this. I will have to send it back someday for the frame up grade. Would I buy another one? I already have. I bought another one from someone that needed the money more than they needed the gun. To compare the PF9 to the P3AT I think the recoil is less on the PF9. Some people feel different about that. I think the trigger is better on the PF9. I feel like the problems that they had when they come out have been taken care of and IMO they are a great little carry gun.
  12. That's a hard one. If I had to pick one I think I would pick from the ones I have now and go with the S&W M&P40c.
  13. Found this site a few weeks ago. I have been lurking around and liked what I saw so I decided I should join. I like having a forum just for this state.
