  1. This. and, I don't know if this has been mentioned here before, but the use of "X-Mas" makes me
  2. Mods......please put TDR on my ignore list at your earliest convenience.
  3. The hot dog was really realistic looking......except she put KETCHUP on it !!! :)
  4. She hasn't done a gun cake yet, but I'm sure she could turn out a nice one if she put her mind to it.
  5. Well, I do love it when they call me Big Pop-Pa and I got some cool hats in the closet. Merry Christmas...........
  6. So my sister-in-law surprised me with this birthday cake....I thought it was pretty cool. She produces specialty and custom cakes. If you need such a cake, PM me for more information and her cake portfolio pics. Merry Christmas, ya'll !
  7. From the entire BigPoppa family, Merry Christmas.
  8. Bryan....glad you, your floor, and your gun all made it through safely. Situations such as this are why I recommend that HD shotguns be kept in "cruiser ready" mode...because, unlike Bryan's revolver, they're not drop safe.
  9. 1-3 Baby !! WOOT WOOT !!! ain't no stopping me now
  10. giggle giggle Welcome to TGO, Jack Brickhouse.................."HEY..HEY !!"
  11. Shelly, Chuck and I would like to wish everyone on TGO a very Merry Christmas and a safe and prosperous New Year. Thanks for a successful 2009, and let me know if we can ever be of assistance. Happy Holidays
  12. Good info. from OhShoot. All I can add is don't skimp on the holster......we see many students spend $ 400 - $ 700 on a quality handgun, ammo, HCP fees, training, etc. and then go out and get a $ 9 nylon one-size-fits-seven-models cheapo holster. The gun and the holster are a system...one should be equally as strong as the other.
  13. wow.........you look just like your avatar !! Welcome to TGO and welcome back to Tennessee !
  14. Welcome Matt ...........................(get it ? )
  15. In your vehicle if you are a HCP holder. The long gun can have a full magazine, but cannot have a chambered round unless/until you use it for self defense.
  16. I rise to second the gentleman's motion. It is tough, indeed, to beat a bowl or two of slooooooow cooked pinto beans and a fresh skillet of cornbread. For the washdown, a tall glass of sweet tea, or even better, ice cold skim milk. My wife loves the 'ol "Dutch oven" treatment. She'll say she hates it......but she doesn't.
  17. Depends on what "home" is. 00 buck is the standard, "default" home defense load. If you live in an apartment, mobile home, or otherwise close to your neighbors, you may need to look at a # 4 buckshot, or perhaps (gasp ) a birdshot load. On the other hand, if you live in a very rural setting, you may have a use for slugs.
  18. was the pistol clean ? and had you used this ammo before ?
