In God we trust. All others NCIC.

Like has been said, that if I don't know you personally, I do not trust you fully. I will give you more trust than others, but not totally. As far as owning land and not letting others hunt on it, what difference does that make or matter. I do not hunt. I have nothing against those that do, but it is my property and if I don't want hunting on it, for whatever various reasons, that is my right and not up to you to question. I have reasons that I don't allow it. That is all that matters.

Romantic, Quiet, Mid Priced Restaurant in Nashville
TNRobocop replied to Luckyforward's topic in General Chat
Sunset Grill is okay.... I keed, I keed. Le Bicyclete in Mt. Juliet is a really nice french bistro/diner type place. Sitar is nice if you like indian (dot, not feather) food. Star of India is good too. -
Looks like they hired a ton of strippers for the photo shoots...

Have you ever served in the military, let alone under the current leadership? Guys like this are LEADERS, not managers like most officers are. Besides Vanderbilt is private property and as property owners, they have the right to limit someone having weapons on their property. Just a fact. To see someone like this, you might have to go *gasp* unarmed to the event....... Just like to Titans stadium or a million other places. Your choice to miss out on something you don't get to see every day. My wife and myself are going to try and get tickets to go.

Did you check Brownells or Midway? -
No way, no how am I playing dead. The drug dealers will be dead for real or I will go out trying to make them so. Not really concerned at that point about a baby in the car that the retards brought with them if I am in a life or death shooting situation. Dang place really is like Mogidishu.

Well to meet someone like that, some people might have to deal with not having their gun for a an hour or two.

What about people like me in a SHTF situation?
TNRobocop replied to Tobashadow's topic in Survival and Preparedness
Not super familar with meds, but what makes them go "bad/expire"? Is it exposure to light, air, or just the breakdown of the ingredients in general. Just wondering if typical food prep ideas would be helpful to meds, like vacuum sealing to keep out air, storage in cool dark places in sealed containers, etc. would help. And if it did, by how much? -

Main thing about meds is that they are not infinite. They expire and some actually turn toxic after awhile. Basically if you are on long term meds that are essential to survivial, you are pretty much ****ed in a true shtf situation. -
I really hope that this is sarcasm and that I am missing it entirely. You are pizzed off because you didn't find a special type of sling?

I have no problem with Goodman banning people from setting up tables for the simple reason that I always saw the same idiots doing it. You cannot tell me that they are selling "personal firearms" all the time. They were consistently at every show. It was obvious that they should be considered in the business of selling firearms, not the hobby. Now walkers (except for the two or three I used to see at all the shows that worked together such as the short, fetal alcohol looking tard that had the camo'd AK's all the time and the skinny older guy with the scraggly goatee anf filthy black baseball cap with about 6 pistols stuck in his belt) are usually just regular joes trying to wheel and deal for a new boomstick and should be able to do it at will. Oh well. Do the transactions outside the building where Goodman can't say anything about it. Inside the building Goodman can do what he wants. It's his show.

I have a NIB UTG handguard/scout rail for a AMD-65 sitting around here. $55 shipped and it's yours. I also have a carry handle scope mount for a AR also for $20 shipped.

I had a 1100 that would not cycle any cheap wal-mart low brass loads. Would go through slugs and 00/000 full loads like a fat kid through cake though.

That's also where Frank (OEF_VET) Maschoff of ETS, Inc. fame suppossedly is still teaching HCP classes.

Copied from my post on ARFCOM. Well I was bored tonight so I put a theory to the test that a regular non-nv Eo-Tech 512.A65 was perfectly able to work with a set of NVG's. So I grabbed a pair of PVS-7's from the arms room, went into the flight sergeant office, and took some pics with my blackberry 8330. In short it worked perfectly fine. I turned the brightness down on the 512 until I could not see it with the naked eye and could see it fine through the PVS-7. Didn't show up so great in the picture through the NVG, but you get the idea. Granted I know it takes more time to setup than if you just had the standard NV setting Eo-Tech, but this model is cheaper and in a SHTF situation would work as needed. Hope this is helpful for somebody. Update: Used a Aimpoint M68, a Aimpoint Clone, and the 512.A65 agin tonight. Clone was crappy. No lowest setting for use with NVG, was bright as hell. Able to be seen from the front from roughly 10 feet away bright as day. M68 was okay. Took to setting 5 from off position before I was able to pick it up in the NVG's. Barely able to be seen from the same distance from the front, but would be able to be lost in back ground clutter. 512.A65 was unable to be seen from the front at all from the same distance. Unfortunely, I was not able to get a non-nv Aimpoint for testing, but will in the future if I can get my hands on one. UPDATED PICS: Test Subjects: M68 from rear on setting 5: M68 from front (10 feet away), you can barely see the dot towards the top left as you look at the picture: Aimpoint Clone from front (10 feet away, next to M68): Eo-Tech from front (10 feet away), no visible reticle, the light spots you see is the reflection from the arm of a metal chair and some on the wall. Eo-Tech is the black blob to the right side of the wall reflection:

I have one exactly like that my father gave me. It was rebuilt in 1953 IIRC. Have to get some pics up to compare.
