Here's the OLAMIC WAYFARER.

Just got these two folders in the other day. I put the lanyard's on both of them this morning. The first one is a SPARTAN HARSEY from 2021 limited edition called the WATCH WORKS. I like the design and the slogan on the back of the knife, TIME WAITS FOR NO MAN never a truer statement has been made. The other is an OLAMIC WAYFARER in Frosted Finish on the Handles and a Bronze Pocket Clip with some Bronze Skulls, and the back spacer is Bronze Scalloped. This one is #10 I believe they only made 15-20. I also ordered an OLAMIC WAYFARER Hand Carved Series and it should be finished around August 19 they only made 10 of these and they won't build anymore of them, I'll post those pictures when I get it.

Well I picked them up on Tuesday, the first one is a 19-4 357mag/w 4" Bbl. and the mod. 14-4 38spl/w a 8 3/8" Bbl. The only flaw that I can find is on the 14-4 it has a scratch just below the cylinder latch other than that they are both in very good condition.

I hold a TWIX CARD which allows me access to shipping ports, millatry bases, and nuclear power plants. I had to get it to be able to work on and in these facilities and I under stood that, it's a heck of a background check to go through especially when working on nuclear power plants. After you fill out a phone book size hiring in package and listing everything you have ever done or did from the time you were 18yrs old to whatever age you are when you hire in. Then your neighbors and your relatives receive a vist from at least 2-4 individuals in a big black suv and they question them about you from 30min to 1.5hrs just to get some information before you can set foot past the main gate. Then there's the psychological questions that you spend about an hour or more talki g to the company shrink, and when you get done with that you pray your name isn't added th the big check board outside his office if you see that oh boy. Well since I've had to take a medical disability from my work do to my stage 4 cancer diagnosis I don't plan on flying anywhere.

What the h$$l does a star on your driver's license acomplish. Seems like another way to raise money and for you to waste a whole day at the DMV. I don't get it, I've had a driver's license for an ID for 40yrs. and it worked fine when I wanted a beer when I turned 21, the cops always took it as my ID when I got pulled over(a bunch of times when I was young and dumb) I just don't understand why a red star has anything to do with "Official ID" oh well I guess I'm missing something(glad I'm not Jewish, we all should know what a special ID did for them).

The other one is a 19-4, they should be here by today or Saturday.
-
Once these two come in I'll get them all out for a group photo, then individually post with some info on each of them. The other one that's coming in with this one is 357mag w/ 4"Bbl.

Mail Order Black Powder Pistols
DJTC45 replied to Randall53's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
You can still find a conversion cylinder that will allow you to shoot regular ammo in one. Just need to look around on line and see what brand the conversion cylinder kit fits and you can have both precusion and metallic cartridge in one gun. -

I know that's true but with the news coverage these days it seems like it's an every day occurrence every time you turn the tv on. -
I won't ever do it again either, what a pain in the a$$ loading and moving an 850# empty safe by myself let alone the ammo, reloading supplies, and the rest of the crap. I did that three times so far and I won't do it again, id as soon take a good a$$ whooping than do that again.

Sad times we're living in nowadays. I'm only 56 and never thought such things like this would happen in my lifetime, seem's to occur once or twice a week. The systems in place do nothing but hurt the law abiding gun owners we seem to pay the most for these idiots crime. -

As Barney Fife would say "he's a nut". It's sad in this day in time that this happens on a regular basis, I blame both the parents for not getting him help before he planned this out, and I also blame the "social media" face book, tic-tock and a few others were these people seem to get sucked in by a bunch of bull #### that gets posted and some of the idiots that they follow. It just drives a bigger wedge for the legal, responsible people who own firearms. I just don't understand what drives these individuals to do what they do. -
I made a mistake in picking out Guns and Leather in Hendersonville and I'll never get another one transferred through them ever again. I was on my way home and stopped in to see if they could do the transfer for 1968 Colt Gold Cup that I bought from another forum I belong to. I asked if they would do it and they said sure, well I gave him the FFL's information and he sent it while I was looking around. He said it went through and he just received the other FFL's information. I said okay and thanks they said they would call me when it came in but suggested that I track it also, no problem sir, I said as I walked out the door. Got a call from them that Friday mid morning that it was there and to stop by when I had time. I went there sometime in the late afternoon and filled out the background check and waited a few minutes and he came over and said I was good to go, headed to the register to pay them I handed him $35 cause I thought that was what they charged, well he then told me that the transfer was $65. I stood there for a minute and asked him why it was double of what other dealers charge, his answer was that is what they charge and if I didn't want to pay that to bad go somewhere else. I admit I didn't ask then what they charged I just assumed it was what I paid at some other dealers, the only reason I stopped there was it was on my way home. Lesson learned the hard way, but I learned it.

Need an 80% lower machined/drilled.

Yeah what a "first post". Good Grief Charlie Brown. -
Man $50 transfer fee is high, the FFL I use only $25 transfer fee + $10 back ground fee. I don't know if the one I use charges a fee for denials, I've only had that happen once and that was 6yrs. ago at a gunshow, and two days later on Monday I received an email from the state that I was approved. So I went to the gunshop that I purchased from at the gunshow that the denial was over turned and to proceed with the transfer, I only had to pay $35 for it. It could be that the FFL Dealer you use has that policy and should have told you upfront about it. I'd find another FFL if possible and make friends with that FFL buy stopping in and maybe buying a box of ammo or cleaning supplies every now and then, then when it comes to you needing a transfer they might just take care of you Just my opinion but that's what I did and I've made probably 25-30 Transfers through mine in the last year and a half.

That's for sure, hopefully.

Thanks guy's, I figured I would start a collection of Smith&Wessons. Ever since I got this damn cancer diagnosis, I figured that I would contact a fellow that I've bought a few from to purchase all of them when I'm gone. Hopefully not in the next few months lol.....

I can vouch for that, he is a true leather craftsman. He's made me a few holsters and a knife sheaths.
