When I carry Iwb My PT145 would pick up lots of lint around the back of the trigger and on the light rail. I just wipe it down every so often. I usually shoot it about 1 every month or so, so it gets thoroughly cleaned then.

Well usually you put rings on a piston to create good piston to cylinder contact for efficient compression. But the purpose of wrapping the pistol would be to make the gun slightly larger to expand the holster.

Sounds like a Taurus in which case it isn't the gun, it is the mags. They are being made by a vendor and alot of people are having trouble. Some people have posted do it yourself fixes at www.taurusarmed.com

Hmm I just bought a Desantis. Packaged with it was a fairly stern warning not to soak, use mink oil, and a couple other things. They say the best way to break in their product is to just wear it daily.

One of my favorite tricks that I learned in scouts, and I still make them from time to time is to take a small dixie cup, cut it so all you have left is the bottom 2 inches, drizzle a little parrifin wax in, then some dryer lint and top it off with more parrifin wax. It makes a great firestarter in the rain and burns long enough to boil a small metal cup of water.

Another possible yet far fetched theory is not enough crimp, the edge of the case slammed into the top edge of the barrel and broke off allowing the round to chamber.

I have a TN real estate license but am not a lawyer. I believe if the easement is for them to gain access to their property they are responsible for its maintenance and upkeep.
