  1. What first hand experience with the full frame Eaa Witness Tangfolios have you hand and whats your take on them. I have considered them and have read about 2hrs worth of internet reviews and watched videos of all sorts. Yes, I know all about there lack of customer service levels. I am just looking for some 1st hand ownership  experiences.
  2. But its still on an AR....still seems sooooo UN natural for me to see you with anything other than something chambered in 7.62x39      Really would have had a suspect on a Vepr  308. LOL you gonna have to change your avatar!!
  3. I just wanted to remind everyone that no matter how busy we all get in our daily lives or how crappy our day has been to never forget to hold your loved ones close to you and hug them every day and tell them how much you love and appreciate them. This goes for our friends and buddies too!    I want to NEVER regret again not saying something or giving someone a well deserved hug or thank you. So please be kind to one another!   With that said Happy New Years to everyone and I pray that hope that 2015 brings success, hope, faith and love to everyone!
  4. The gun shop on Antioch pike in Nashville has been broken into again over night. News reports that possible firearms have been stolen.
  5. Rather  slogans than a name but had to chime in!   "What can Brown do for you"   "All painted up and no bad guys to shoot"   "Support the 2nd and the right to carry a pink Glock"
  6. Got plenty of choices as of right now. But if you have had exception service and can recommend then please feel free to PM me still! Thanks to all who sent me there referrals!
  7. Ok, so I have gotten to the point in life where I just not longer have the time, the energy nor the time to deal with repairs. I am located in Donelson so Hermitage, MT J, or close to me recommended mechanics will be taken into considerations. I am looking for an all around tech who can do regular stuff no fancy fab'ing or custom stuff on a plain jane 2001 chevy van.    Please send all referrals to me via PM.    Thanks!
  8. I didn't put "state" because from what I understand that the WA people do not refer to them as living in Washington state but just plain old Washington.    Ok, so I am looking for some info from anyone that might be from or has lived in WA in the last few years or visits often.    Mainly looking for info on the Tri Cities area, Spokane, Yakima,  Pullman and maybe on the other end of the spectrum Bellingham.   Please send me a PM if you would have time to chat with me over any of these places for a few min.    Thanks!
  9. removed. Sorry
  10. My two cents. For those of you who know me personally and have seen our previous BIG BLACK VAN. I screamed of please pull me over and harass me. Lots of tattoos and a very suspicious off road attack vehicle looking blacked out van.   Anyways, I was pulled over 6 times in the first 3 months of living in TN and every time I informed the officer that I was a card holder and was armed and what position the weapon was at. EVERY stop went very well and even got  a few welcome to TN and even one "I am sorry for pulling you over".   Long story short on that one. NV plate that has the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign on it is part black and part white. He pulled me over to having a "broken" incomplete tag.  I let him know I was armed and had permits from several states that TN honors. He had me step out to show me and I pointed out that it was not broken but a 50/50 split in color and the look on his face was priceless! He was very apologetic and sent me on my way.    The last time I was  stopped was for a headlight out. It had went out that day and didn't have time to change it and I was still working at D&T Arms. We closed the shop and headed home. Had lots of ammo, 2 AR's several hand guns and my FN FAL in the back. Got stopped by metro and did as usual inform of card holder and  of  every weapon I had in the suv and the officer was very nice and never once gave me a lick of trouble about the arms I had in back of my Tahoe he said get it fixed and back to the house I went.    I know we are not obligated to inform. But for me it makes that stop go so much easier!
  11. Was about 15 min down the road from our old house when we lived there. We rarely used that Walmart as we view it as the "other side of the tracks" for us and never ate at that CiCi's. I had a quite a few of LVMPD Motor officer buddies but did not know the officers killed and was relieved that it was not one that I knew personally, but it does not make the pain for the families any less and I feel for there families as if I knew them. Also my prayers go to the family of the CCW carrier that gave his life to try to save others.   But it does bring one thing to light for us. Along with the latest OR school shooting that no matter where you live and how safe you think you are.  There will always be sick people that intend to bring harm to innocent people and to just be prepared as best as you can. Lesson learned for me is to take a step back if possible and take a look at the big picture and understand that any age, gender can still pull a trigger and remember that I am responsible for my actions and reactions.    I certainly do not want to come off as being paranoid. But, I believe that people need to take off there blinders and start with the sad realization that we are in the same boat as other countries with Terrorist both foreign and domestic amongst us. Schools need to start taking a proactive approach with "shooter on campus" drills just like they do fire drills, earthquake and tornado drills.    We do not need to live in fear but we need to live with the ability to be adapt to any situation be able to protect our selves and loved ones and others we do not even know and over come these types of situations!
  12. Ok, so I have always used proprietary software for all my vinyl cutters and now my engraver. But we got Corel X7 for a project and the rep said "sure its easy to learn" But I am having a tough time with it. If your local to Nashville and can lend me an hour or so and would like to make a few bucks please let me know!
  13. Boxers and ST Bernard. I would save them all if I could!
  14. Casa Grande! We almost moved there but ended up in Vegas instead. Now here in Donelson also. Not to hijack your build thread but you said you are setting up shop here in Donelson area? Nice build by the way. Also not a big fan of some of the looks of the Magpul gear but for the most part its always built well.
  15. Given my state of frustration with it, we might just be making a youtube video
  16. Ok, so I have this "new" project that I need done. I have a wooden box that needs to be sectioned down the middle long ways and then put back together and reinforced. I no longer trust my self to do anything that requires a high level of measuring! I pretty much suck at it   and now just going to  :surrender: and hope that it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg. If your interested in making a little $ and know what your doing get with me and I will give you more info on what I need done.
  17. Yep, learned really quick as I had to go to the finished basement today! There is a difference between glancing down and looking all the way down! Thank goodness for the handrail!   Work will be fun today as we have steps that I am usually with my arms full!    Well, I guess if this is the worst of my week then I will be grateful!
  18. So after almost 43 year I had to finally break down and get glasses. Getting old aint for pansies!   They are progressive bifocals so basically trifocals with no line.    Almost tripped off a curb several times. Made my self dizzy moving my head to the left or right too fast and was wondering why my windshield wipers were so bad even though they are brand new, oh just have to lift my head up a tiny bit and all clear again!   What comes next? Already hard of hearing and missing a few teeth!
  19. I there is a different sound and feel with nitro or 4 stroke gas RC. Nitro was just a PITA to keep up and running to be able to enjoy it! So I guess if flying a chopper that the gas would have more realism to it??
  20.
  21. we used to be into it but then just lost interest with nitro. Our son wanted one so we got him a entry level 1/18th that has replaceable parts so when he breaks something it doesn't become a paper weight. And now I have re gained some of that spark that made me remember what was so fun about it. Decided to go electric this time so not have to fuss with the nitro and the break in and tuning all the time.        Just was curious about who might be on here that has other hobbies than just firearms.    LOL shortly after this post my son ran his car into the wall and broke the front steering block.. AHHHHH now I remember the frustration!
  22. Anyone here that is into RC Trucks either currently or back in the day 80's to present?
  23. Still no support or info. Certainly a Mod can tell me?
