    380 Question...

For your cc you want something you will actually carry on you. This means it must be easily concealed and comfortably carried. Hands down imo is the kt380 or lcp carried in a billfold holster. Mine goes with me everywhere effortlessly. I really mean I never know its there, unless I run. As far as stopping power 2 well placed rounds of any caliber will stop most all non doped up bad guys even a 22.
  3. Ruger 22/45 hands down in the 250.00 range.
  4. IMO in the summer one should carry hollow points. You should get enough penetration with little clothes to go through, while in the winter with people wearing heavy jackets a FMJ will still be able to penetrate when the hollow point will not.
  5. Great shooting with a snub at 50 ft!!! Just bought a 642, and I'm thinking now maybe I need to invest in a laser.
  6. You are absolutely correct in the fact that sometimes you will need help with online purchases, if nothing other than getting them to ship and receive for you in the event of a lemon (and it will happen). What I do is go to my local dealer and show him what I am looking for. Offer him first chance to come close to the price, and even close makes the deal. If he can't (most the time it will) he will say ok and we will go from there and have it shipped in. I try hard to pay the money to the face that appreciates it. All that said I would not make a used purchase online, only a new one. Then warranty should not be an issue.
  7. If price is the biggest concern and it is for me also, this is what I do. I find a local dealer with good customer service find the gun I want with the best price online and have it shipped to them. For instance 2 weeks ago I called the largest gun shop in our area and asked for an out the door price on a pistol I was looking at. Their best price was $40 more than what I could buy it for, ship it there to their shop and then pay them to handle the transaction. Saving me 13%
  8. I have the Keltec 380 which is very much like the Ruger. I can vouch for all the advice about these little guns so far thats been posted. I am a BIG Ruger fan but chose the Keltec for I found it (the new generation) to be a little more reliable. Carry it everyday and can depend on it. 500+ and no malfunctions. The Ruger is on sale this Friday at gander mountain for 289 and could probably be found a little cheaper. These are the ultimate pocket pistols in my opinion
  9. I carry the P3AT in a wallet holster everyday. For me this is by far the best way to carry and conceal.
  10. The Ruger line is the standard by which the others are measured in this class. For function and price they can't be beat.
  11. Had my sr9 for about 2 years and it has been flawless.
  12. I two a SR9 fan. At first it sounds like ammo, but did the shell try to eject (stovepipe) if so it may have been the result of a limp wrist shot. At some time or another if you shoot enough it will happen. I have zero malfunctions with well over a 1000 rounds, but my wife can't empty a clip without a failure. Would not worry untill problem persist.

    kel tec p3at

Out of the box RELIABLE ....500 rounds with not even a hiccup, accurate for me up to about only 15 feet (4" groups) but everyone is different. I carry mine every day.
  14. I have held and shot many 9mm and the SR9 is my favorite. I bought mine (Black Stainless) when they first came out. Paid the price $440.00 because I just had to have one. Sent it back for the recall work and have shot 1000+ rounds. FLAWLESS!!! With S&W running the Sigma's with 50.00 rebates I would say the gun alone should be bought used for 350.00. Good Luck!!

    P3AT Question

I have the Hogue jr on my P3AT. It works better if you turn it upside down and then slip it on before you trim it. After a few days it will shrink to fit well. Very pleased!!
  16. Good to see another supporter of Israel. Maybe I did not explain the question I had very well. I have a paper trail to me on this gun and considering the current administration is not gun owner friendly I felt the need to cover my basis. The actual question I have is it seems to be #10 is able to be answered both ways. Not from a heart issue but from a grammatical one.
  17. I printed off a bill of sale to use tommorrow and had a question about #10 10. If ever a US citizen, I have not renounced my citizenship. It is as if the question could be answered yes or no. What do you think?
  18. Last month's show at the fairgrounds had more gang looking dudes there than normal for me. Not to mention all the gov officials. It is beginning to be too high profile for me.
  19. I had to place the photo as a link in the description. It would not upload the pic from photo bucket. Thanks again.
  20. Thanks. I was not reading it that way. Seems to be active within the last 30 days as opposed to for 30 days. Good to get the clarification.
  21. When trying to post in the classifieds it will let me go all the way trough, but when I hit the submit button absolutly nothing happens. What am I missing?
  22. Walmart here has been completely out of 9mm for 2 weeks
