Who all is going to the Gun Show this Weekend besides me???
edellson replied to a topic in Events and Gatherings
Last month's show at the fairgrounds had more gang looking dudes there than normal for me. Not to mention all the gov officials. It is beginning to be too high profile for me. -
I had to place the photo as a link in the description. It would not upload the pic from photo bucket. Thanks again.

Thanks. I was not reading it that way. Seems to be active within the last 30 days as opposed to for 30 days. Good to get the clarification.

When trying to post in the classifieds it will let me go all the way trough, but when I hit the submit button absolutly nothing happens. What am I missing?

TONS of 9mm Blazer Brass at Bartlett Walmart
edellson replied to Ninja9's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Walmart here has been completely out of 9mm for 2 weeks -
I must admit that I am not up to date on Fire codes, but seems to me that if a locked door can be opened from the inside without a key what would be the infraction. It is not locking people in but intruders out.

As part of the security team at our fellowship I can tell you that although not needed but in rare instances, it is those rare instances you need to have a plan for the safety of your fellowship. Focusing such as making sure only minimal access to entrances to the building (keeping all doors locked is usually a job in its self) and parking lot mischief. Not everyone needs to be armed for this task and unless one has a carry permit no one needs to carry in an organized security team. With that being said what about the liability - not much of a question in our fellowship. The protection of our family and friends out weighs the fear of a corrupt politicial system. When seconds matter help is only minutes away!

I would like to suggest support the small guy when you can. Let walmart be the last choice instead of the first. Your local buisness will beat WM if they can, most of the time if you will just ask.

I am in agreement. Check first to see if it is mag related, and a good cleaning won't hurt. Little chance it is ammo related IMO.

This is a pic of what the Ruger SR9 upgrade (one of several) will include. Does it remind anyone of maybe a G....? Don't write the SR9 off yet, it may be on its way to play with the big dogs. I have owned and shot many handguns and this one by far is the best feeling gun I have ever handled.

Are we saying that the 9mm round is a little much for this frame? After looking on the K/T forum it looks like the mechanical issues are resolved, but I guess that still does not make it reliable. Suppose that the reason the 380 is so much more popular?
-
I am entertaining the thought of getting the K/T pf9 for c-carry. Does anyone have any experience with it, good or bad?
-
IMO it sounds like your problem described is the ammo. With that being said I have had nothing but problems with the P22.

True Story. While I was making a delivery to one of the prisons in Nashville the gaurd was searching my truck when he removed his revolver and motioned for me to open the back door and with the gun in his hand the barrel passed in front of me as he swung his hand around. This happened once more, before I told him firmly he needed to holster his gun. This happens way to much innocently but give us a break. Learn how to carry and shoot that gun safely. I would prefer to have everyone demonstrate they know how to handle their piece.

I have noticed that many of the front sights on used xd's are banged up. Even with a gunsmith's experience it is not an easy task.

I agree that electronic canned air is the way to blow out lint and other crud that lurks in those hard to get to places. As far as the oil goes no more than 1 small drop on both slide rails is all I ever use, and sometimes thats to much. My rule of thumb is you know its there but you never want to see it or its to much.
-
At that price Ruger will get some more of my money. Just 2 weeks ago I saw one sell for $400 at the gun show. I thought to myself why would you want one so bad.
-
No problems with my fobus. Actually it is one of the most comfortable paddles I have ever owned. It takes a few times to get used to removing your piece from the holster (quick snap). That being said it aint going to fall out either. Not a real good choice as a carry holster but if you dont carry on a daily basis where you have multiple time gun removal this is a great holster IMO

It was an attack against me. I hate that towerclimber37 got caught in the crossfire, but thanks towerclimber37 for covering the back of a new member of the forum. -
U S Supreme Court ruling (Good News)

Look at the date on this article. It was current news when posted and I saw nothing in this area of the forum about it. <TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width="100%"><TBODY><TR><TD class=vRefb>Mat 23:8 </TD><TD class=vDispb>But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, [even] Messiah; and all ye are brethren. May be time to change your name . </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE> -
This type of class sounds like a winner.

Got an eye appointment coming up soon. I'll ask if its the old eyes I have no problem focusing on just the front target but it is when I try to use both sights with both eyes open. Thanks for the tip maybe the Doc can help.

A running target shoot in the rain. Now that sounds fun, don't it! Plus I have never done it.
