Can I upgrade from USB 2.0 to USB 3.0?
TripleDigitRide replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in General Chat
What is a SATA 3/0 or 6/0 port? -
Thank you for your service. Welcome to TGO. Enjoy your stay! As far as ranges go; Nashville Armory - Indoor - Nashville Guns and Leather - Hendersonville and Greenbrier - Indoor - Hendersonville and Greenbrier Charlie Haffner Memorial Range - Outdoor - Spring Hill/Franklin Stones River Hunter Education Center - Outdoor - Antioch (probably closest to you). Not my first choice, but it's an option. There are others, but those are the first that popped into my head. I am a member of Gallatin Gun Club, and I'd gladly take you as a guest. I'm available most weekends, Friday through Sunday. Tennessee Firearms Association

I have a HP p6754y desktop PC that was purchased in late 2010 or early 2011. Is there any way to upgrade from USB 2.0 to USB 3.0, while getting the full benefits of USB 3.0? Or will be be some watered down version of USB 3.0? There are 2 USB ports on the front panel, and 4 ports on the back. Without opening the case, I can't tell if the USB tray can be removed. Thank you in advance for any assistance.

In Case You're Still Considering a Jammer Device

They'll wait until hundreds are killed before deciding it's time to allow the airports to use the advanced GPS technology. In the meanwhile, they'll be using the outdated technology that can easily be thwarted by any Bin Laden with a camel and $100. -
Does that come with a senior discount for the diapers you'll be needing while being away from a bathroom for more than 15 minutes? :p

New 1000 yard gun range in Chapel hill.

They aren't concrete benches? -
This It is like ebay sellers that sell a product for $1 then charge $45 shipping to get the $46 they want for a product. Same story, different day. The Chinese started that. They found a loophole in ebay's fee policy. Ebay was charging seller fees based on the amount the item sold for, minus shipping charges. It didn't take long for some to realize they could avoid a large portion of the fees ny selling a item for $1 + a crazy high shipping. This allow them to pay fees only on the $1.

People standing in line are doing it b/c that is what they have to do to be able to get ammo these days. How are they the problem for doing it and shooting as opposed to someone that catches a box as they're getting groceries in Walmart? As long as the resellers see that people are desperate enough to stand in line for only the hope of the possibly of walking away with ammo, they will continue to buy for the purpose of reselling at a profit. Sometimes you're better of making a small, short term sacrifice for the greater good. If you truly need ammo, that's one thing, I guess. Stalking the ammo counter only for the purpose of hoarding or blasting ammo at the range is not going to help the cause. It only shows the resellers that there's still no shortage of desperate suckers who are willing to go to extremes for a few rounds of ammo. -

As long as people are willing to stand in line for ammo and pay those inflated prices, the madness will continue. Unless someone has zero personal defense ammo, I don't understand why they would stand in line for the possibility to buy some ammo. Those standing in line are just as much of the problem as those buying for resale, along with those willing to pay the inflated prices. -
I use the Magpul MBUS (front and rear), mainly because they work and are less expensive than other options. If you decide to go this route, be sure not to get scammed into buying the cheap PTS versions. Those are for Airsoft, but they still have the Magpul name.

New 1000 yard gun range in Chapel hill.
TripleDigitRide replied to Alleycat72's topic in General Chat
Sounds like a nice place. For those that shoot those distances, $150 is probably a great deal. Not many 1000 yard ranges around these parts. -
The American people can't handle the kind of change we need.

I have spoken with the gentleman that itchytriggerfinger recommended. While he seems like a very knowledgeable and all around great guy, I'm not sure my Father was prepared for the amount of fees involved. I'm sure he'll use his services in the future, but I don't think his budget will allow for it at this time.

Huh? Do not understand as he had the paperwork... I dunno. Unless they are interpreting the laws differently than I am, I suspect LE and the judge are in "get even" mode at this point.

They are just south of Old Hickory Blvd, on the east side of the road.

I would suggest a quality grain-free dog food. After he's taken to the vet for a check-up, of course. We prefer fish based dog foods. I'm sure he'll be just fine.

Sorry about the cat. Thank you for choosing to rescue your newest member of the family. I wish more people would also choose that route. Keep us posted on his progress.

The latest 1:09 long video is somewhat entertaining. It does contain quite a bit more interaction with LE that the first two videos did not. According to him, they strip searched him (prior to the official strip search), hoping to find the key that belonged too the lock. Once they determined he did not have a key, the judge allowed LE to cut the lock/case in order to determine if it was loaded. That's when they found the paperwork for the supressor. He was then charged with being in possession of an illegal supressor. In case you're wondering, he has feet in his shoes.

It was obviously satire. :shhh:

Question about a knife I own
TripleDigitRide replied to jphillips63's topic in Knives, Lights, EDC Gear
That's kind of what I thought, but all the EMTs who work out of a building next to my place of employment have convinced me that they are legally allowed to carry them, and do.
