  1. Probably a flare/tear gas launcher. I think they are 37mm and a grenade launcher is 40mm.
  2. It's not easy to beat Wal-Mart. Academy Sports + Outdoors is a close second. Bass Pro is often pretty close to Wal-Mart and Academy. No Gander Mtn. here in Nashville. Even if there was, I wouldn't go there.
  3. I'm not sure. He was willing to come to Robertson County (Springfield).
  4. I am in no way affiliated with this guy. He did such an amazing job, I just had to share his info. I've used a bunch of carpet cleaning companies, and not one was worth calling back.   I woke up this morning and decided we needed to have the carpets cleaned. I browsed through Craigslist to see if I could possibly find anyone willing to fit me in sometime this weekend. I got lucky with the first call.    I got in touch with Brandon Walker. I don't know if he is Stainmasters, or if he's just an employee. Either way, I'll never call anyone else.   Most companies just simply clean (using that word very lightly) the carpets; in and out in 15-30 minutes. Not Brandon. He brought in a machine that I've never seen a carpet cleaner use. It looked like one of those commercial floor buffers. This machine pre-treats, breaks up the dirt and helps "fluff' the carpet in areas where it may be matted down from foot traffic. Our carpets were far from bad, and he spent a good 30-45 minutes doing our living room, 3 bedrooms and hallway. After he was done with that, he spent another 30 minutes or so using the typical hot-water extraction equipment. He was in no rush to get in and out like most guys. He wanted to make sure the job was done and done right.   He mentioned that he also does flooring installation and repair and tile backsplashes. I didn't use him for any of those services, so I can't speak for the expertise or quality.   Anyway, Brandon was able to come out within just a couple hours of my first call, and did the job for $110, out the door. He's currently running a $89 3 room special. He charged $20 for the extra room, and didn't charge anything for the hallway.   If you want to reach Brandon Walker, you can reach him at 615-642-9245. I'm fairly certain he mentioned living in Joelton and having an office in Nashville.
  5. Ribber for her pleasure.
  6. The Outpost Armory has plenty...if you wanna spend $150-$160 for 440 rounds. What's the site you're referring to?
  7. The average current price that I've been seeing is about $125 for the 440 round can of 7.62 x 54R. $100 or less is a bargain.
  8. I'm always baffled by stories like this.    The attacker was close enough for the victim to be in fear for his life. Said victim fires "several" rounds at attacker. Attacker drives away.   How is the attacker not found face down in a pool of his own blood?
  9. I've had no issue with CCI or Eley subs.
  10. Maybe that was his only gun. If an intruder decided to break in while he was cleaning an unloaded gun, the intruder could easily overpower him before he could get it reloaded.
  11. If you're desperate enough to stand in line for hours and leave empty-handed, why not just pay the inflated prices that some are asking? Your time must be worth something.
  12. We already know TGO is the best. We don't need some dumb*** noob coming in here to state the obvious. :D
  13. Yep. You don't have to send it back or pay for it.
  14. Congrats! I have the .40 Pro Series, and I love it.
  15. They say the phones have been ringing non-stop for months.
  16. Until noon on Friday. http://centerfiresystems.com/rusgun9130.aspx?utm_source=streamsend&utm_medium=email&utm_content=18341661&utm_campaign=Just%2520Arrived%2520-%2520Mosin%2520Nagants%2520and%2520Fury%252012%2520GA%2520Semi%2520Auto%2520Shotguns Not the cheapest ever, but cheaper than most right now.
  17. Yeah, I posted from my phone, so I'm not sure how big the picture is.
  18. 11 mags through a 10.5" full-auto AR.
  19. ...that want to puke ...
  20. Nice. Did it come with the StrikeFire?
  21. Welcome to TGO! Make yourself at home and enjoy your stay.
  22. Congrats! I just bought my first house in September. Enjoy!
  23. It does fit my hand very well. As I mentioned, it is smaller than my Cold Steel, but the ZT350 fits better. It will still take some getting accustomed to a slightly smaller knife.
  24. With a little arm twisting, some fellow TGOers convinced me to try a ZT350. Although the retail price of the ZT350 is a shade more than I usually pay for a work knife, someone mentioned that a blemished model could be purchased through KershawGuy.com for a substantial discount. At roughly half-price, he was absolutely correct, so I didn't waste any time. While I think I would have preferred a solid black blade, they were not available in the blemish section at the time of order. I opted for the tiger stripe version, and it's actually very nice in person. I'm accustomed to carrying a Cold Steel Recon 1, so it may take a little while to get used to a slightly smaller knife. With that being said, I already love this knife. It's badass, and the quality is top notch. Based on pictures I've seen, the only possible blemish I can find would be at the edge of the handle, near the thumb stud. Maybe someone who has one can verify that for me. If that's not it, this knife looks perfect to me. As far as KershawGuy.com, I couldn't have been happier. I ordered the knife Sunday night, it shipped from Oregon Monday, and arrived in my mailbox today. Doesn't get much better than that. Thank you all for the recommendations.
