  1. Ah I see, more of an AK guy then? Or was that Mike with the AK?
  2. It's not a bad thing, I was just wondering. Thanks for all the info.
  3. I have some family down in Memphis. Next time I'm in town I'll give you a shout.
  4. Where exactly are you?
  5. I was thinking about just starting with the basic single press and dies for .223/5.56, and 9mm. The one type of ammo I could justify is the 7.62x38R, that stuff is a pain to find and expensive. Also I have no clue as to the first step to reloading other than knock out the primer and go from there. Started watching some videos on Youtube, but it would be better to watch someone do it in real time, not a video.
  6. We shoot invite the cop next time lol. He looked like he wanted to stay and shoot.
  7. I guess as far as .22 and .17HMR handguns go, the .17 HMR has more stopping power I assume or would at least think.
  8. Wow. I would like to reload in the future, but with the amount of shooting I do I can't justify the initial cost.
  9. Thanks for the information. The reason I am looking for the stuff is to use as a soft base for a rifle/mag/optics shelf. It won't look as cool in opinion as the pick and pluck, but then again it really doesn't matter that much.
  10. Oohhh classy right there. I like it.
  11. Thanks for letting us shoot, I had a great time. If someone could pm with an e-mail address if you took pictures that would be great, I'd like to have some.
  12. I like the sleeping pad idea, because I could cut them in the online of my rifle and other things. I'll check them out caliperman, I was hoping it would be a local place.
  13. Wow, you do a lot of reloading.
  14. Need any help with setup? I was thinking about heading that way.
  15. Haven't tried there. Maybe that other craft store, can't think of the name though.
  16. That Pelican foam is almost as expensive as the cases. I wonder if Home Depot sells foam sheets, that would work. I just need a sheet to put on a shelf to keep my rifle and such from getting scratched up and such.
  17. Oh, darn, you're right about Thompson Center. I completely forgot about them.
  18. Haha, well someone had to test the waters. I'm going to search local places next. The only problem is that I need more of a sheet, not one designed for a Pelican case specifically. But if worse comes to worse I could use two of the rifle case inserts for what I want to do.
  19. Does anyone know where I can get a sheet of a foam insert with removable cubes like in a Pelican case? I've looked but haven't found any.
  20. It's one of those things I guess they have to ask. Common sense would tell me that there isn't a pistol out there that shoots 300 Win Mag.
  21. My problem is some people think I'm a lot older than I really am, while others think I'm younger.
  22. I figured that there would be someone out there who made a revolver for it. I've personally never had a problem with not being able to buy ammo after 10:30, but I have heard a lot about it, seems like it's mainly the younger employees. I've always gotten an older employee who really doesn't seem to care what time it is.
