  1. Interesting thought. That has really never come to mind but I really like that idea.
  2. Normally I look at knives when I'm over at Greene's because they have a decent selection and I go there a lot. On the other hand I work downtown so they really aren't that far away.
  3. Lol, seeing that reaction would be great. Barrel insert for a shotgun? Hmm... That's an idea right there... (over-under/side-by-side)
  4. That's what I figured. Personally I think this law is frustrating, but I'm not 21 so it's only that way for me, one year and some change though...
  5. 10/22 is great, and has been around for a while. I remember learning to shoot on one of those and a lever-action .22. The 10/22 is accurate out of the box and there is an excess of aftermarket parts when you want to change things up.
  6. I'm really not aware of any handgun that uses .17HMR though, lol. Correct me if I'm wrong though.
  7. Yes, but I was buying rifle ammo.
  8. I was at Wal-Mart, in West Knoxville, at about 10:30 P.M.. When I was checking out after buying some ammo the guy asked if I was using it for pistol or rifle. Has anyone else noticed this? I'm wondering if they are doing this now so that people who aren't 21 but use pistol ammo in carbines can buy so sales don't leave. The reason I'm wondering that is because it seems like pistol caliber rifles are starting to become more popular.
  9. Moped, you keep bringing up Star Sales, I need to stop in there one day. I haven't been there in years. I remember they had lots of good stuff though.
  10. This project looks fun.
  11. Those are cool rifles.
  12. It was always funny when we shot in competitions because the first ten rounds or so would be fine, but none of the others. He would be standing there kicking the charging handle while the ref just stared.
  13. Haha I had a friend that had to do that with his Remington 1100. Thing wouldn't cycle and would jam itself shut and then rust.
  14. Well now I know. I guess I have that fear because I was always told not to leave the springs compressed on rifles/shotguns/mags or whatever else.
  15. I found my old Lone Wolf knife, might carry that one for the time being.
  16. They're great when you need to load up your mags before shooting. Personally I don't like keeping ammo in my mags for long periods of time because I'm afraid the fatigue on the springs. Not sure if that is just a random fear of mine or if you actually have to worry about it. In any case that's my reasoning.
  17. Great. Thanks for all the info, hopefully this will make this project happen without too much frustration.
  18. Chuck Norris is the one human zombies know they can't eat.
  19. Very, very impressive. I like the idea and the execution.
  20. Okay that's not that bad then.
  21. Maybe Carl went back and got it after Dale was killed?
  22. I save mine. Makes loading magazines much, much easier.
  23. Thanks for taking the time to research all of that.
  24. Oh that's not bad at all. Yeah I have access to a compressor. I was assuming that you were using one of the sand blasting boxes. I've been re-reading those instructions like no other the past two days. Did you also blast and re-paint all of small pieces as well?
