  8. Call Kerif Night Vision in Las Vegas.   They're a pretty good outfit and should be able to advise you on different units and answer any questions.
  9. Hit me up.  I gotta meet you for your other thing.
  10. Or that. It comes in handy when your gas block isn't on the same plane as your rail.  That's why I used it.
  11. Something that is really helpful that you may or may not need is an adjustable rail aligner.  It clamps on to your flattop and keeps the rail square to it and then the same for a gas block if you put a railed one on.
  12. I carried a bag when I was going up to Alaska covered in molle loops and junk. Never had an issue.
  13. That would be pretty sweet.  better for a tool box or maybe a soft side bag more so then a backpack.  U-channel from Lowe's/Home Depot and bolt it all together?
  14. I was moving some things around in my work bag and needed a way to hold some of my tools in one place so they wouldn't rattle around or get eaten by the bag so I made this. It's a piece of kydex with holes in a one inch grid and some flat elastic band from the craft store to hold everything down. 15. Billet is just a block of material. It could be wood billet, plastic billet, metal billet, micarta billet.  So yes, you can go from billet-->forging-->machining-->complete or billet-->machining-->complete and they're both technically billet.  It's more of a marketing thing though. "Ohhh billet, that sounds fancy." Like companies saying it's a "forged aluminum piece." You get the idea.
  16. Such as?
  17. Most of those parts kits have been in the $500's the past couple months but that's probably due more to the panic then anything.
