I dont think I have ever seen one that wasnt bent. they will still function with a bent spring best way I know... put base of spring in bolt, then guide rod turn reciever upside down and hold bolt, guide rod down at 90 degrees toward rear of reciever. compress spring until guide rod end is inside bolt ease the other end ogf the guide rod into stop in back of reciever, keeping tension on the springslide bolt back unitl you can get it under the rails then slide it forward secret is to keep the end of the guide rod inside the bolt, makes it harder for spring to bend Hillbilly

Back during the cold war, there were two major competing political and economic models squaring off. We won that war, but we did so because fundamentally, the Communists wanted to survive, just as we do. We were simply able to out spend and out-tech them. That's not the case this time. The soldiers of our new enemy don't care if they survive. In fact, they want to die. That'd be fine, as long as they weren't also committed to taking as many of you with them as they can. Russians and ferals, used to hunt ferals in s GA around fort stewart with a pistol. Ferals arent "Tame" they are hogs that escaped and grew on their own. Normally not as aggressive as "Wild" hogs, but they will charge if you get too close or have to take 2-3 shots to put em down. and yes I have shinnied my big ol butt up a cedar tree once to get away from a hog shot 3 times with a 45ACP he went doiwn after a few minutes, but the cedar tree left scars that will last a lifetime LOL Good fun Hillbilly

Quite a few places to hunt in ET, I have been all over, never meant to find bear, but have run up on some while deer hunting, I mostly hunt private land in Sevier, Cocke, Greene and Sullivan Co.s. Also roane Mt for Hog. one thing, NO BAITING in TN, Quire a few places in the US do allow hunting over bait, but TN does not as far as I know. Take her on a "photo safari" Go up to the Park Vista hotel in gatlinburg and pull around to the $10K apiece bearproof dumpsters at nightfall. then watch them big fat scutters come out of the NP and climb in and out of the dumpsters. dont let not having a stainless gun stop you, Rugers "SS" recievers are actually painted or anodized silver. strip it and polish with sandpaper and alot of elbow grease, then clear coat it to match barrel and fet ready, you will spend $$$$$ on ammo to try to find what shoots best in it after rebuild and mods. its crazier than hot rods
