She wanted to but I couldn't keep them from Dakota. He acually shot all the ammo I brought except the 10 or 15 I shot. He must have shot 30+ rds through them & he liked the M38 best.

I use Ed's Red. Wy wife also hates the smell of Hoppe's#9. The Ed's Red works just as well & I don't hear all the fuss about the smell.

O yea the Nylon 66. I bought it from my grandfather when I was a little feller. As far as the gal I have already posted a WTB youth .22 for her! I acually got there about 11:30. Sorry I missed ya.

Today had to be the fullest I have ever seen the range. Great day for shooting. I didn't get to ease around like I usually do because I had my 5 yr old gal with me.

Many people use windex to start with as long as it is with amonia. I use 75%water & 25% amonia. After the amonia bath it is cleaning as usual. I also compleatly disassemble the bolt for cleaning & lube. This helps with the bolt: http://7.62x54r.net/MosinID/MosinDisassembly.htm
