  1. When put like you just put it, I think I would prefer to go with a semi-auto SBR and spend the extra cash on the ammo, training, tacticool accessories... If money were no option, full-auto for sure.
  2. Maybe if you used more big words and came off a little smugger, I'd see your point. I agree that it's poor etiquette to smoke around those who don't want to breathe in your smoke, but the guy was IN THE STREET. NOT standing next to an entrance or exit. If you're worried about the carcinogens from 2nd hand smoke from a guy standing 50ft away from you, I hope to god you never stand near a running automobile. As far as legislation against smoking, sure we all agree it's unhealthy, but is it really the government's right to decide what businesses are "allowed to allow" their clientele to smoke? Personally, I dont think so. I dont think a small business owner is so helpless as to make this decision himself. Nobody FORCES you to eat or drink at an establishment. If you dont like the smoke, go somewhere else, it's that easy.
  3. I seriously doubt he was surrounded by oxygen huffing patients out in the street... It's no ones "American right" to smoke a cig, it's their "American right" to CHOOSE to smoke a cig.

    Old Shep

For some reason, taxidermy creeps me out...
  5. That's awesome. I hope to inherit the captured Luger my grandfather (a D-Day vet) came home with one of these days.
  6. I myself do not smoke, but the guy was in the street for christ sake! I mean, I understand their having a policy, but this whole anti-smoking crusade is getting a little fascist if you ask me...
  7. EBR disease? I can identify... I too am waiting on my Del-Ton order... and I'm already planning my next build in my head... I'm thinking 20" match grade upper, Leupold glass, and Magpul PRS stock so far... or do I want to go .308? Decisions, decisions...

    AR Uppers...

I agree. I think what motivated me to get on my build was the rash of AR builds of seen on forums lately... I got jealous.
  14. I seriously doubt the hospital maintains that road. I'm quite certain your tax dollars do.

    My new AR

Nice! I like it. My next build is going to have a 20" barrel... Now to decide whether it's going to be .308 or not...

    AR Uppers...

Thanks strick, but I'm in Nashville. I'm not too worried about the wait. I'm hoping I won't be waiting any longer than 3weeks, but we'll see how that plays out. Who knows, since I ordered the mid-length, maybe I'll receive it earlier than I thought. One driving force in ordering from Del-Ton, aside from their glowing reviews, was the fact that they haven't attempted to squeeze even one solitary extra penny out of the post-election hysteria, unlike some vendors (cough, cough, BUD'S!... cough, cough, CTD!..).

    AR Uppers...

Well, I placed my order w/ Del-Ton earlier today, so the waiting game begins... I ended up getting a different configuration than I had originally planned. I decided to go w/ an A3 flat top upper w/ a 16" chrome lined barrel, and mid-length gas system. Cant F'n wait...

    AR Uppers...

Thanks for the input guys, I think I'm leaning towards a Del-Ton kit now, as I'm not to worried about wait time, and it seems I'll get more for my $$$. Sling, I seem to have read somewhere on a different forum that 1x7 was ideal for bullet weights as low as 55 and well past 62, but I will look further into it, thanks.

    AR Uppers...

Holy dog feces! I'm confused. I keep trying to decide which upper I'll be ordering... I've got my eye on a Sabre Defence M4 1x7 chrome lined, and can get it at a pretty decent price. On the other hand, I can order a Rifle Kit from Del-Ton, spend a little more, but get more stuff. How can I expect a DTI upper to stack up against a Sabre Defence upper?
