    GLOCK CLIP

Haha, I know, I was just being my normal unbearably hilarious self. I think the Clip Draw is a cool product, but I don't think I would carry my G19 with one in the pipe like that... seems better suited for a gun with a thumb safety... but not a 1911, a 1911 would look horribly stupid with one of those clips on the slide. Hmmmm... maybe a USP?

    Off roading

I used to off-road w/ my stock ass '92 Range Rover, but it started demanding maintenence, so it's in pieces right now, will probably be for sale or trade after christmas sometime.
  4. I've still been able to find the Lancer mags, just got a few the other day, and for about the same price as windowed PMags.

    traps

I'd say the US Army Survival Guide is a definite read, it covers a lot of trapping and fishing techniques with simple tools and materials. US Army Survival Guide
  6. I love the DA/SA triggers on my 226 and the SP2022 that I sold.
  7. Anyone know where I can read some NON-BIASED info about the standoff @ Ruby Ridge? It seems everything I have read is leaning pretty hard one way or the other. Not to mention the crap made for TV movie I saw several years ago.
  8. Is it possible you have a beta on your hands? I found this on a forum: This is the original thread: http://www.gunco.net/forums/f36/md-arms-saiga-12-20round-drum-39835/

    Del-Ton is very busy

Try as I might to be patient, the wait is killing me. I just received a package of Black Rifle goodies from Area 51 Tactical yesterday, yet I have nothing to put them on!

Yeah, I ordered my kit on the 8th, and I'm assuming it wont ship for another few weeks. It seems they are backordered on lots of stuff! I know they were having trouble getting their hands on any more mil-spec CTR stocks, but still had commercial in stock. I'll probably have them give me a deduct for the stock and order one from somewhere else. I dont foresee changing to the commercial CTR, as I've heard about problems with lock-up.
  11. Kinda cool, but I dont think I would spend much more than what a PMag or Lancer mag costs. That said, I like the trend of polymer mags.
  12. Did you take that pic yourself, or is it from the depths of the interwebs?
  13. Anybody ever seen "Children of Men"? I probably never would have seen it had I not been layed up in a hotel due to work travel, but I caught it on HBO one night. It started out pretty slow, but after the first gun shot was fired, it was pretty non stop from there! Not great, but decent.
  14. Eh, I thought it was a cool action movie. Unless you're really worried about a corny B-movie swaying your opinions, I'd say you're in the clear. From a pro-gun site regarding their positive review of the movie (which was criticized):
  15. "Generation Kill" hits DVD on Dec 16th, I just added it to my netflix que:)
  16. Anybody ever watch "Generation Kill" on HBO? I dont have HBO, but I was wondering if it's worth checking out
  17. Definitely! ...and of course Terminator 2 is on my list as well!
  18. Can't forget Blackhawk Down. I enjoyed Jarhead too, even if there was a lack of combat and shooting.
  19. Ok, so Junglist's Red Dawn thread got me thinking... What are your favorite "Gun Movies"? These can be war movies, cheesy shoot 'em ups, whatever. Let's hear 'em! One I caught recently which I was impressed with was the appropriately titled "Shoot 'em Up". It's a little corny, but it's supposed to be. I highly recommend it. 20. You and your family will be in the thoughts, hearts, and prayers of me and mine.
  21. Agreed! I cant remember a time when the gov't rewarded me financially for any of my poor financial decisions...
  22. Not to mention they sell Murphy Gas (which I hear isn't processed from sandbox oil) on the cheap where I live!
  23. I hit Wal-Mart once a week at least. It's one of the few places I can count on having everything I need in one stop. That said, I like to support local retailers, WHEN I CAN.
  24. Hmmmm... This has got me thinking I need to go dig up some of my grandfather's old photos. He was a D-Day vet, and I know he has several photos from his service days. If we all get off our butts and start getting these things digitized, we could have a really awesome thread on our hands.
  25. Oh yeah? Cool, I just had something transfered for the first time last week, and the guy that was to send the transfer didnt have a fax, so when I called the gunshop to get their FFL info faxed to me so I could deal w/ it, they seemed hesitant to deal directly with me. Haha, I guess that's how I figured it in my head... that they HAD to deal w/ the info between themselves.
