    Glock or Saiga.......

The SF has a shaved off back of the grip compared to the big open space in the back of the regular 21 grip. IIRC.
  2. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the SmartCarry. I own one and like it. It is mainly for when wearing clothes without a belt or pockets. ( gym clothes ) I also wear it when I'm dressed up in dress pants. You never know it's there. It would take trying to pull the trigger to make the gun fire. If you're wearing a J frame or other revolver in it, it's just not gonna happen. The same goes for any double action or long pull semi auto like the Kel tecs and such. The people that say it's not safe, probably don't or haven't owned one. JMHO. Be your own judge.
  3. I really like mine. Congrats on your new nickel plated one. There's lots of good info on them at www.Bersatalk.com
  4. My wife has the Sig Mosquito. I like it. It's a fun plinking gun. The design feels good in the hand. It does however seem to be picky about the ammo IMHO.
  5. I used it in my Glock. It shot fine. I thought it was a good price since I paid $20 for 20 rds Hornady TAP Hollow points.

    ROCK ISLAND ARMORY

I think Hero Gear usually stocks them too.
  7. From the way I understand it, it does not affect internet or satellite radio.
  8. Yep, my name probably is on their list. I expect the guys in the black SUV to show up at my door any day. I don't see how Michael Savage or any other Conservative could stand to live in San Fran.
  9. That's a good looking holster. I think I'm gonna get one. I've been looking for a good OWB rig. I love the Crossbreed Supertuck IWB holster that I own.
  10. No, from the way I understand it, TV is not affected because they don't want Conservative views on the CommieNewsNetwork. They are just targetting news talk radio. (from what I understand.)
  11. We'll see. I generally seem to agree with you most of the time Crimson, but I guess we disagree this time. Besides, for the time it takes to put your name on the list, what's the harm? Even if I'm as wrong as you say, what's the harm in being on the list? I agree, there are MANY more important things to worry about, but you gotta start somewhere.
  12. That's what I'm saying. By making the Conservative talk stations air Liberal programming, people will not buy advertising thus killing the stations.
  13. I don't know what the rest of you think about the conservative talk radio genre, but I've found it to be a very informative and entertaining way to pass the time of day this past year. The other day, I heard about the Dems, specificly BO, wanting to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine. The Fairness Doctrine can be reinstated by a FCC board consisting of 5 members. Presently, 3 members of the board are Republicans and 2 are Democrats. One of these Republicans are due to be replaced soon. The new member of the board will be appointed by none other than BO himself, so I promise you that he will not put in a Republican. With the scale tipped to the left, the Fairness Doctrine or (Un)Fairness Doctrine WILL be reinstated. When this happens, this is what will happen. The doctrine will require Conservative talk radio to share air time on their station with liberal programming. As things stand right now, Liberals can operate their stations just as Conservatives operate theirs, so why should the government regulate talk radio programming? Also, the doctrine will not apply to liberal biased TV news media, Liberal biased Newspapers or magazines. It only applies to radio. It doesn't apply to all radio, just talk radio. It doesn't apply to all talk radio only local Conservative news talk radio. The nationally syndicated shows such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, and Bill O'reilly will likely buy into XM where the Fairness Doctrine will not be effective, but that will limit Conservative listeners like myself. Talk radio keeps listeners informed about the decisions made in sessions, so listeners can call their representatives to let them know how they should vote on topics such as Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants, Government bail outs, ect... If they successfully do away with talk radio, they will do away with the Conservative voice of the people. Don't just take my word for it, please research the subject for yourself. If you want to take a stand in keeping America free, go to Free Speech Alliance website and put your name on the petition to speak out against the Fairness Doctrine. I urge you all to do this because if they can do away with freedom of speech, what freedom will they take away next? Just go to http://www.mrcaction.org/517/petition.asp?=18726830&NID=1 to let our voices be heard. Thanks for taking the time to read my ranting.
  14. I don't think BO is going to have a private civilian police force. I think he is going to institute more of a peace corp kind of thing, but with those screwed up libs, there's no telling what they will do. I do know he will try to starve us out. He's gonna put such a stiff tax on gun and ammo sales, it will be hard to buy ammo and be very expensive to shoot for hobby or sport. He will also put a stop to all imported guns and ammo. Hope you all can get what you want or need before January.
  15. I went to the Stones River shooting range last weekend since Owl Hollow was closed and I was pretty disappointed. It was alot of sitting and waiting and very little shooting. Their rules and cold range periods are really a henderance. I probably won't ever go back. Anyone know of any good outdoor ranges in middle TN?
  16. I think it would have been fun to hide in the bushes and shoot him with a pellet gun. That way, no one would know what happened, but the kid would sure learn a lesson.
  17. I carry the Glock 30 IWB in the Crossbreed during the summer, but don't have a good OWB rig. What with Thanksgiving and Christmas/NewYears dinners, I need something that doesn't take away from my waistline room. Any ideas? I want something economical and production made that I won't have to wait till spring to get. I'm looking around the same price range as my Crossbreed and MTAC. I don't mind a couple weeks for manufacturing and delivery, but not a couple months. What are the recommended OWB rigs to wear now that the season has changed?

    charter arms

Oh Shoot, I inherited a Charter Undercover just like yours yesterday from my Grandmother that passed away on Monday. My needs cleaned and oiled and then I'll go try it out and see how she shoots. I expect about the same as my J frame S&W.
  19. Maybe I'll try them in my Marlin Model 60.
  20. Does anyone have a pistol that shoots 22 shorts? What are some guns that shoot those? I have some ammo, but nothing to shoot it from. Input please?

    Para-ordinance?

So far, only 2 people that have replied to the thread still currently have theirs. If they're the best you ever owned and work flawlessly, why don't you still have them? Just curious. If I find a perfect pistol, I'm hanging on to it. Just my .

    Para-ordinance?

Cool looking weapon. I had a stainless P14-45 when they came out long ago, and at about $900+, I was very dissapointed. When I tried to resale it, I got screwed. Maybe this one is better. It was too thick in the grip for carry. It was too heavy as well. Good luck with your purchase.
  23. My wife just yesterday bought 12 boxes of ammo in 45, 380, and 38. It was basically 50% off all of it. She spent about $105. I havent seen Blazer at walmart for less than or close to that price in my calibers.
  24. I went to the Dick's in the Boro and bought 2 boxes of Remington 45 Auto ammo for $17.00. You pay that for 1 box of Blazer at Walmart.
  25. I have both a S&W J Frame 38 revolver and a Bersa 380. I like both, but I carry the revolver because of the size. If I had a hard on to carry a semiauto, I would carry the Bersa. The ammo is more costly. Maybe the 9mm Bersa would be a good choice for him.
