  1. That's what the SmartCarry holster is for. I always use that holster when wearing warm up pants.
  2. He probably got the only good one or his hasn't broke yet.

Call Specialty Arms. If they don't,they probably know somebody who can.
  4. So just for a little update, I'm at 1 month after I ordered my belt from the Saddle Shop in Triune and still haven't heard anything. After the first 2 weeks, I called and he had not even started on it. Now, I'm thinking they forgot about me. Oh well. I guess if I wanted one fast, I'd have gone with the Beltman or some big name. I was trying to stimulate the local economy, and that's what I got.
  5. With a Glock 26, you won't need a warranty or interchangeable backstraps because it's made with Glock Perfection. :koolaid:
  6. It was a good spoof on a lot of youtube videos.
  7. Me too, but I can't do it on the 24th. 31st has my vote.
  8. We can meet up sometime and I'll let you check it out for yourself. As I recall, it was about $30. It took about 2 weeks. I'd like to check out that IWB holster in case I wanna buy one sometime.
  9. We've kinda gotten off topic anyway here, so while we're all still friends, lets dial it back to the original post topic. 1911 with a 4 inch barrel or 5 inch barrel? Thanks.
  10. Let's keep it civil here or I'll close the thread and troublemakers will be sent away. Just sayin...
  11. The weight difference feels like alot also. I wish they made a true .45 ACP subcompact. I'd like a .45 ACP the size of my Glock 26. I'd be ok if it only held 8 rds in a double stacked magazine. I don't want a 45 GAP. If Kahr can make one that small, it can be done. I wouldn't want it to cost as much as a PM45 though. I know, I want everything.
  12. I had a Glock 30 and a 21. A friend's Glock 19 was the same size as my Glock 30 with pinky finger Pearce grip extension. The 21 shoots better so I kept it for HD and range use. I sold the 30 to buy a 26 in 9mm which carries much better than the 30 did. The Glock 30 IS a midsize even if the Glock websight calls it a subcompact.

I had one and had no consistant problems with any one kind of ammo. It was fun to shoot at the range with. The ergos were great. It wasn't that bad to carry with my Crossbreed holster. I sold it for $400 in great condition to buy an EBR. I think it's a good pistol depending on the price you pay for it. I payed $400 OTD for mine. It was Bi-tone with two mags.

    SA XD 40 SERVICE

Congrats on the XD. Looks like you stumbled on to a great deal.
  15. +1. I'll also add to the OP that I notice you are 36 and imagine you wear less concealing clothing in the summer as most of us do, so it may be challenging concealing a full size Glock in shorts and a T shirt like I dress in the summer. If you really like the Glock in 40SW, you may want to use that as an excuse to go get that Glock 27 for a summer gun. They conceal great and are just as reliable as the the Glock 22.
  16. Is it safe? Not like going to the Cheatham County range.
  17. How far is Viola from the Boro? How far from Manchester? What about that in lieu of Owl Hollow? Does that work for MolonlabeTN? Are there good eats close by?
  18. Also, On Target is more expensive. Non members pay $15 for the lane and $10 per additional shooter and only 3 to share a lane. Owl Hollow would be a better location. $5 each or $40 for the year.
  19. I want to remind people here that we are watching and bickering will not be tolerated. I knew where the thread was going in my last post. Act like adults or your posts will be edited/deleted. Thanks.
  20. I don't understand it either. You've made the comments on the board about how you like your M&P's and how you keep going back to your G19 as your "go to" gun. That being said, what is making you think about the M&P 9C vs the G26? Is it the ergos, sights, capacity, or what? Is it because you have a 19 and don't see enough difference between it and the 26 to justify buying the 26? Just curious. Do I have too much time on my hands since I'm inquiring on this subject? Probably so.
  21. He doesn't like the caliber and we're not gonna go into a caliber flame war. If this is where we're going, drop it right now. Thanks.
  22. The Taurus has to go to S. America doesn't it? The RI is from the PI. I haven't ever heard anybody say they had a warranty issue with a RIA.
