  1. Yeah, I try to make frequent trips to Chattanooga though for ammo at GTs, unfortunately they have been closed the last few times I was down there to see friends and family. Their 9mm duty ammo has been scarce, lots of 40 duty ammo though and most of their 40 ammo is cheaper than 9mm ammo.
  2. Forty is always on the shelves but I can find 9mm about 50% of the time. My local range had some 9mm for $14 a box, bought all they would sell me. I picked up some 40 for the same price even though I don't have a 40 but I plan on getting a Shield in 40 soon enough.
  3. I would venture to say she has a very secure, healthy income by voting for a living.

    Glock 42

Some computer savvy person needs to make one of those Hitler rant videos about this.
  5. Great, just another reason why I need a Shield!

    Glock 42

If you are talking about Atlanta's old M&P's they look pretty bad but they had those for 5 years. By the time I got some money and went to GT's they had all been picked through. They had a few 40 compacts but they were even worse, such as in a way they had sat in the armory and rusted. I am going to hold out and buy one of the law enforcement trade in Glock 37's they will be getting.
  7. There is a new Kahr 45 coming out with a 4.5" barrel and 7 round magazine priced similar to he cw series.
  8. Also, it can't be that old so most likely not too missed.
  9. Go to page 56, http://issuu.com/shotbusiness/docs/jan2014 The Glock 41 will be 1.5oz lighter than a G21. The Glock 42 is in fact a 380acp.
  10. The new Glock 41 will be a 21 frame with a thin slide like the 30s. It should be a hit weighing less than a regular Glock 21.
  11. The G30 and the p250 are not little guns, concealable yes but with a little effort. The XDS is a handful I have heard but very easily carried.
  12. I have shot a lot of lead reloads through Glocks. I have never had an issue with fouling.

    Glock 42

A bigger letdown than the last "Big News from Glock". Well, the M&P Shield demand just went back up because all of those people waiting for the single stack Glock.
  14. The subject was my certifying instructor for my armed guard license, hard to believe he is capable of this.
  15. This occurred two days after the Knoxville road rage shooting. Subject was a former police officer and had worked as a armed guard and armed guard trainer. Supposedly the suspect is on deaths bed himself with cancer. CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) - UPDATE: Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Chattanooga that happened around 9 a.m. at 344 S. Glock 42

The Glock 36 had Many problems, mostly in the begining, that somehow went away.
  17. Not fare to Chattanoogans that this has to count as a homicide(justifiable). Chock one up to a Glock Foty!
  18. http://www.timesfreepress.com/news/2013/dec/10/teen-killed-0010in-shooting-faced-charges/?print Friends mourned Ward on Twitter over the weekend. He was a student at Ridgeland High School. "Imma miss him so much," writes @shermanyb_ on Twitter. Ward was charged in another robbery case in October 2012. He was expected to go to trial in March on charges of aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and theft of property, court records show. Ward and another homicide victim from this year, 16-year-old Lamunta Williams, allegedly committed a home invasion-style robbery at a home on East 18th Street wearing bandannas. They repeatedly beat the victims before stealing two guns, a TV, an Xbox and $150 in cash, according to police. Williams was picked out of the lineup by one of the victims. Five months after the October robbery, he was shot and killed in an abandoned house a couple of blocks from the Howard School during the school day where he was supposed to be in class. When police searched Ward's phone, they found pictures of him posing with one of the stolen guns and another picture documenting the serial number. Both pictures were taken the day of the robbery. Ward's death marks the 18th homicide of the year. In all of 2012, there were 24.
  19. Did anyone hear about the fake sign language interpreter at the funeral?
  20. And if I remember right there is about 110 9mm in a pound and about 70 .223 in a pound. While someone will buy .223 and 9mm it is the most abundant.
  21. On almost all common brass (9/38/380/40/45/223/308), assume about $5 a pound for mixed head stamp and unprocessed. some .223 like Federal and military crimped stuff you almost can't give away.
  22. I would argue that the extended slide release is asking for a problem as well. Change the sights if you wish but leave Glocks the way they come.
  23. If my gun is own my nightstand I am there with it, if I leave it leaves with me.
  24. I prefer 124 grain Gold Dots, but I would be just fine with 115gr of any reputable hollow point. I am hesitant to try 147 grain anything, frequent feeding issues and too much of a chance to not have enough velocity to expand.
  25. I have been reading for weeks now and what few issues I read of from the Shield seem to be all 9mm versions except for the very early 40magazine drops. Has anyone experienced any issues with the 40's other than the early reports of magazines falling out?
