I've used it quite a bit! I absolutely love it. Don't hesitate, order it now! Also, start out with light coats, then put it on thick (more durable and easier to peel off when you want to if its thick).

Not the case. It only applies to the states in the district where the ruling was handed down. Colorado is the 10th circuit - if it was ruled on in a 10th Circuit Federal Court, it would be applicable to KS, OK, NM,UT, and WY. Any other state would simply treat it as a case of first impression - the ruling would definitely come up, but it would be treated as case law in another other states, but rather as a case of first impression. -
URGENT - Permit-less Car Carry in the Senate Tomorrow

In one of the videos during the senate judiciary committee hearings a question was asked how it would apply to motorcycles, and it was said that it indeed applied to motorcycles just as it would to a car/truck. -

I contemplated calling in for a quote and asking what the additional charge was to be reported to the DHS, but Id rather not waste my time! -
I've been reading up on surrounding states laws in regards to carry while out camping, hiking, backpacking, fishing, etc. and was wondering what the consensus was in TN about carrying while, for example fishing w/o a HCP. From what I understand now (please correct me) - if in a public area where HCP holders aren't prohibited from carrying, you can have a loaded gun within your tent as it is your domicile for however long you are camping, but cannot carry if you were to leave (i.e. to go on a hike further in)? How would it work for a person without an HCP in this scenario? Now, onto my next predicament - I have began fishing on public land (found a nice little spot along a lake) that is NOT posted, NOT in a park, just public land along a lake, would I be able to lawfully possess a loaded handgun in this situation? Reading through TN law I would be able to carry "Incident to lawful hunting, trapping, fishing, camping, sport shooting or other lawful activity" however, does this apply to public land, or just private? Any opinions on what you've encountered in the past would be very helpful!

Chattanooga area Reloaders - I have a Question
wk05 replied to wk05's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
10-4! -
I've got a Savage Model 10 FP sitting in a McMillan A5 with a 22" barrel that I would like to have cut down to 18", and wanted to ask fellow TGOers who you would trust in the East TN area (Chattanooga Area Preferably) to do the work? No threading would be needed, just a simple chop and recrown!

My experience with .22LR within the past two months or so has been this: I live in Chattanooga, but frequently travel to Nashville. In Chattanooga, Ive found that .22lr is almost non-existent in compared to what can be found in Nashville. Sportsmans in Chattanooga always puts some out, but you better be there first thing, or "the regulars" will come in and get it. The same is true with the Walmart in Ooltewah - I went in the other night around 9:00PM and saw they had 3 bulk packs of Winchester 333s and politely bought all three. I spoke with the guy running the gun counter, who said its all old men who bring their wives in to buy it everyday at his store :yuck: However, on my trips to Nashville, Ive stopped by BPS every time, and been able to get a decency priced bulk pack i.e. Winchester M22 1,000 rounds for $55, and have heard that this is the norm usually if you can get there before noon on a weekday.

Chattanooga area Reloaders - I have a Question
wk05 replied to wk05's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Wow, taken care of already! The TGO Community is absolutely AWESOME! -
To all of the reloaders in the area, I have ran into an issue. After moving into a new apartment, I am no longer able to tumble/clean my brass which has put my reloading operation to a halt. I wanted to know if any reloaders in the area would be willing to help me out and tumble my brass, in exchange for reloading equipment? I've got a smaller sized ultrasonic cleaner that is great for small gun parts such as bolts, trigger packs, etc, as well as a rotary tumbler that can be used for wet tumbling (i.e. SS Media) and a set of .45ACP dies that I could offer for some compensation! If anybody could help me out, Id appreciate it! Thanks!

Been enjoying the fishing so far! I really missed being out on the riverbanks so often! I'm looking to plan a trip sometime this summer within a few hours drive of East TN to do a little bit of camping and fishing. Any suggestions?

URGENT - Permit-less Car Carry in the Senate Tomorrow
wk05 replied to wk05's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
PASSED, signed by Haslam, and its law (starting July 1)! On another note - reading the law as it is now, it looks like "car carriers" will be able to legally carry in their vehicle everywhere HCP holder can correct? -
Well, I'm itching to take the M2 out and bust some clays and get myself in shape for Dove season this september and was thinking about hitting up Montlake Classic Clays in Soddy Daisy. Anybody ever been out there and shot? All indications seem like it would be good to go, but if any fellow East TN people have recommendations for sporting clays or skeet fields within an hour or hour and a half drive I would appreciate it

URGENT - Permit-less Car Carry in the Senate Tomorrow
wk05 replied to wk05's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Holy hell! I wouldn't have thought he'd have signed it either! Very pleased with the legislative goals accomplished. Look back to the 2014 legislative goals thread on TGO and this was "my goal". Glad it's been accomplished. Fixed the biggest and most fundamental flaw in TN Firearms statutory law in my opinion. Thanks to all those on TGO who put in their support for it! -

wk05 replied to wk05's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Yep. I honestly do think he'll let them all pass without a signature. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst situation here. I'd guess there's an 80 pass / 20 fail odds for this bill. -
A doublestack .22LR pistol that uses a magazine design similar to the PMR-30. 30 rounds of .22lr in a Glock Frame format would be a riot!

No harm meant! :) But to answer your question - Lim as x--> c of f(x) = L if and only if both one sided limits =L also! Have a calc & analytical geometry exam this morning! -
I ended up going down to GT and they ended up charging me $11 with tax to do it. Even though the lady on the phone said it was free, it didn't bother me to support a local business to do a service I couldn't myself. Id rather pay those guys who were nice and quick $11, than another dealer in the E. TN area which shall remain nameless $35 and want me to leave my defensive handgun at their shop for 3 weeks to do so. Capitalism at its finest!
