RIP, Alan Wood. "The fact that there were men among us who were able to face a situation like Iwo where human life is so cheap, is something to make humble those of us who were so very fortunate not to be called upon to ensure such hell." - Alan Wood http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/04/28/17957227-world-war-ii-vet-who-provided-flag-at-iwo-jima-dead-at-90?lite

We have a winner! Just because we dislike something someone wears, listens to, thinks, etc., as long as they are not harming someone else, gives us absolutely no right to legislate against it!

Excellent advice, however, exhaust manifolds tend to make more torque than headers in my experience, though headers make higher RPM HP.

Man Buys Two Ferrets He Thought Were Toy Poodles

It's amazing that anyone would prefer an actual toy poodle to a 'roided up ferret with glamour pic hair. I say sell as is and demand an upcharge... :) -
Crap! That's awesome! He looked like he tried to launch that thing into low earth orbit!

Remember when the Vice-Principle pulled a group of kids that hunted over to his car in the school parking lot to show them his new .30/06 deer gun? I do. Of course, I went to a rural school that was K-12 and my graduating class was 32 people....

I actually remember when Premium went over $1.00 per gallon at the "expensive" gas stations. I thought "Who in the world would pay $1.05 for a doggone gallon of gas??" And I am "only" 37.

I think that way because MY children are, in fact, MINE. They are very privatized and will continue to stay that way. I also send them to a private school that I vetted, lined up with our morals, and chose as to prevent this type of indoctrination. Dang scary to know that some people actually believe the crap that this woman is spewing.

We were also limited, for the first time, by extreme and nonsensical political intervention...38th parallel, anyone? -

Actually, I am going to dissent. A show of American muscle is never a bad thing. One of my favorite author / pundit / general know-it-all, P.J. O'Rourke, says it best: America is not scared, America is scary. All the years of PC has made us lose sight of this. We should be cautiously confident and ready to bust some ass on a moment's notice. -
Nice!!

Do you realize that if you combine the military spending of China and Russia, then multiplied that by 3, you still have less than what the U.S. spends? We are still the most technologically advanced and most powerful military on earth. We should never underestimate anyone, but direct focused, intense, and overwhelming power towards any enemy. We have become lazy since the end of the cold war. Maybe the old "Iron sharpens Iron" saying has merit.... -

Agree with a lot of the responses. My view is with NK is that there are only so many times you can ignore the crazy guy on the corner yelling that he is "gonna cut ever'body" before someone gets cut..... -

I will say this for the offended Catholic: One of my friends was Catholic, and when questioned about the saints of Catholicism, he said, "We don't worship them like you rednecks think (he was Italian descent and from NY). It's like having a best friend that is friends with a hot chick - you just want them to put in a good word for ya."

We all have choice words for each other. I rebelled and went Pentecostal for a while (that was the proverbial "turd" in the punch bowl at the family reunion - no snake handling, by the way). Everyone is wrong and everyone is right. Crazy how many interpretations can come from one book when we ALL agree on the beginning and the end of the story. I just hope when it counts, we all pull together.

LOL - What's the difference between a Southern Baptist and a Methodist? A Methodist will speak to you when you run in to them at the liquor store..... (I heard a rimshot somewhere)
