  I rode a few Harleys: The Fat Bob, Softail Slim, and the Dyna Wide-Glide. All 3 did well, but there was just something about the Victory. The ride, the response, and the feel at cruising speed just felt right. That being said, I also have a sour taste in my mouth with Harley from many years ago (20 at this point, and more than I'd care to admit). When I was 17-18 (summer I turned 18. 1993) I bought a basket case 883. I worked like crazy on that thing to get it together and eating gas. With this thing, though, reliability was never in question. There was none :) I initially thought it was an indictment of my motorcycle assembly skills. Turns out, it was just a piece of crap AMF years bike. Long story short, I thought I should give Harley another fair shot (and I did this time around, I thought), and just liked the Vegas better.    I really liked the high ball, as well. But I don't have a beard. For some reason, I feel like you need a beard or really long hair when riding a bike with, basically, ape hangers...

Just came home with a new 2012 Victory Vegas 8 ball from Mountain Motorsports.

  It is a black congregation in a black community located in a very poor area (MLK Blvd). 

They are buying into the Jackson and Sharpton BS.....as well as the Obama and Holder BS.     And you are correct, Leroy. 

If I had no personal responsibility, common sense, or a pair of balls it would look like I was a politician.

More individual freedom is never a bad thing.    I personally do not give a damn what two consenting adults do together. I would ask the same of them as I would anyone else. Leave the politics at home, do not push your beliefs on me as an individual, and show some moderation in public. The less the .gov legislates personal liberties, morals, and choices, the better.     While I may not agree with someones personal choices, that gives me no right to actively seek legislation against it unless it affects my personal liberties or rights.

  I have a 4 year old that was doing the same thing. She wants to take my wife's iPad everywhere with her. *sigh* Such is the world we live in. technology is wonderful, and can greatly improve our every day lives, but I try to make sure it's balanced with "outside" time.
