"Tactical" Pants (5.11 Dress/Khaki/Cargo/etc)
Dustbuster replied to GlockSpock's topic in General Chat
I've worn 511, propper, tru spec, and even wrangler. 511 trousers are ok till the loop in the back gets yanked, over priced I think the rip stop from any mfgr is best for what I do and it breathes well, wrangler came out with 511 style khakis, green and black at a fraction of the cost. Heck Wally World stocks it. The 511 stuff is now over priced IMHO. Made in Thailand no warranty worth a crap. I used to like their shirts although they tear real easy. At 40 bucks a shirt and 40 to 50 for trousers I'm back to wrangler and propper and the like. Also, fwiw 511 wear is a dead giveaway to bad guys.... I do like 511 shorts for summer theyre rugged and fit nice but I don't wear them for work. Hope this helps. If you're in nashville Greene mil supply on Lebanon road has a nice variety of warez.also patriot surplus dot com has a awesome selection of stuff tax free -
just watched his "video", he should have complied to the point of decompressing concern for safety, that cop gave him every chance to reduce suspicion of ding a ling having the capability of causing eminent harm to others.Hes lucky he didnt pull this crap in some redneck town,or in the northeast....ACLU should put him through electric shock treatment for flunking " I know my rights 101"..... :shake: dipstick should have put a cork gun in that friggin kydex case, locked the kydex case and should have left his suppressor home.I respect someone with knowledge, not someone who thinks they can stick their bare hand in a blender to show they're faster than bruce lee......abby hoffman had balls, this cat gets the ron white unfixable stupid award.. :screwy: at least he kept his hands on his head to avoid becoming a bullseye........he says call his lawyer,he should have dropped a name, he didn't, surprised he didnt say john herbison or perry march....I guess the grand finale will be him showing up on the border of a school zone after school starts this week........

I think its hilarious that this guy gets the crowd charged up over something that "looks" like a weapon in a case.on a bad note it sucks that officer patrol time is spent responding to calls over him versus a real emergency situation, kudos for freedom of speech use,i think the guy is using an ill technique because hes not making a point that can be enjoyed by everyone....hes pissing too many reasonable people off.. another observation i have is that one man can raise a ruckus w a gun case getting the pd involved, but we cant get those that complain about drugs and thugs to ID any of the undesirables they complain about so they can be quasi eradicated

Congrats on your hcp food for thought, be careful in sumner co. There's been a handful of cops that have been hard on hcp holders during traffic stops in sumner co and the goodlettsville area lately i dont know why but i keep hearing the same complaint from diff folks,Again congrats

How do you hide gun/or accy purchases from the wife or GF?
Dustbuster replied to Dustbuster's topic in General Chat
 this is good,on a side note, i dont hide my guns or accy's,she doesn't know what they are anyhow and doesn't care,BUT its just funny hearing some guys talk about how their other halves have a meltdown over purchases, and the retaliation battles that ensue... -
how do the dogs feel? because this is what will happen to tsa working dogs but have no fear working cats demo new capabilities in the war on terror: http://youtu.be/PXRX47L_3yE

How do you hide your purchases from the ol lady? pls dont answer with: I run it straight to my safe and lock the door! LOL All other input welcome w open arms! ( no pun intended) -
roku is awesome as long as you have a good net connection,i ran mine with a clear internet hotspot device so i was getting netfilx and amazon w unlimited internet for 68 bucks a month.I only went back to cable cause the ol lady was moaning for jody arias coverage and the like......but to answer youre question, the free stuff is junk. w amazon and netflix you wont run outta stuff to watch unless your a hardcore tv junkie.........also DONT LOSE THE ROKU REMOTE. Its a bitch to find a replacement and or program an aftermarket

I've got two of em. No problems. Got one on an ar pistol and one on a 300 blackout pistol I prob wouldn't run one on a full auto setup. I think one of the most important things w a polymer is to get decent parts w the money u save buying polymer. Ie rock river trigger kit or nice drop in etc. the one lower I have came complete w parts, the trigger is actually pretty smooth.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

The owner was a bail bondsman name Greg or glen, pretty nice guy. They actually were doing. HCP class for 75.00 which included weapon ammo and range time.... Not bad,but priced kinda low. Hate to see em gone...i would have thought w the last fiasco they would have humg in there.oh well if he's on here thanks for treating us nice. More than i can say for some other lgs..... Love mine, carry it all the time away from work, when it first hit the street there were a handful of gripes but most people don't rtfm that came with it. It advises to hold it with authority in all aspects. The small frame has a lot of mass moving on top. Limp wristing it will produce problems. So IMHO based on @ 1k rounds through mine, hang on to it with authority keep it clean and enjoy it. Hope this helps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
