  1. Been pulled over once or twice with a gun on me. Always rolled the window with hands on steering wheel, told the officer of the situation, and asked how the officer would like me to proceed before moving to get license or anything. Have never had a problem doing it this way. I also share the same luck as glock55, and have never gotten a ticket. One time, the guy stated it was because I had a HCP, the other time because I'm a nurse. I'll take it either way!
  2. But if ordering everyone to stay inside will save even one life, we MUST do it! It's our moral obligation. All must suffer for the potential benefit of one <rolls eyes, walks away shaking head>
  3. It's definitely a good start, hope others will follow
  4. I've heard the same from a LGS I go to for reloading advice. I didn't purchase them though because I wanted to do some research on it, but I never did. I know this isn't very helpful other than to say "I've heard of that also, but had the same question."
  5. i agree ... i don't think it would be lost profits either, you'd probably make it up on the civilian market selling the product at a higher price than you could to the feds anyway
  6. this may be a little off topic ... but since we're talking about health insurance prices ... my wife was signing up for insurance through her company the other day and sent me this picture of the prices she would be charged depending on who she covered ... now i don't mean to offend anyone and excuse my french, but WTH is up with this pricing structure?!?!?! SSDP = same sex domestic partner ... is cheaper than a married couple?!?! a SSDP family is cheaper than a married family?!
  7. If they don't come to the conclusion that water is wet, they may at least come to the conclusion that ice water never gets watered down like a 5 hour-old fountain soft-drink.
  8. armed citizen in CA? ... such a thing exists?!? :stunned: :squint:
  9. armed citizen ... in California?!? those exist? :stunned: :squint:
  10. I don't know what to make of all this ... is this quantity out of the norm for what the fed has purchased in the past? I'm uneducated on that, and frankly, a touch skeptical of infowars.
  11. Quote from the letter in the OP: "That a proposal would not pass both houses of Congress is not a justification to circumvent Congress, but all the more reason why we must respect the constitutional process of law-making."   They pretty much summed up his idea on legislation in 17 words.
  12. will look great! an improvement in my opinion ...
  13. hahaha ... now it makes since!
  14. curling just the cases wouldn't do much good I don't expect.  sometimes when I'm toting around an ammo can I'll give it a few curls while walking around.  for some reason, the curls seem easier after a day at the range
  15. same here, i've got 1 year on ya (27 y/o), but nothing i did as a kid (with the exception of mario), would be allowed now a days ... remember shooting bottle rockets at each other? ha. kids now a day wouldn't even know how to play outside or light a bottle rocket
  16. haha, if they wanted to search it, i'd ask them if they were afraid of my high capacity ketchup bottle, or magnum hot dog
  17. taking over the schools is how they got liberalism into society in the first place ... they wish they could create immediate change, but realize taking over America is a long-term project.  trying to disallow transfer of guns upon death (new AWB) as well as indoctrinating the young generation against guns, guarantees that if they don't get the guns now, they will phase them out over one or two generations.
  18. this is so f'ing retarded. i can't believe these liberal pieces of **** have gotten this far into the country and completely taken over common sense. trying to control the imagination of a child like this? i remember all kinds of imaginary "battles" i had on the school playground. <insert a string of inaudible mumbling curse words>
  19. if I had kids, I would like to give this a try ... but since I don't, I wonder what would happen if I took my lunch in one into the hospital?! i wonder if the security people would have anything to say about an empty Glock box?
  20. have to agree ... when you see all the "miscellaneous" agencies becoming connected, it makes you raise an eyebrow.  i hope i don't offend anyone by saying this ... but from the TSA agents i've seen, i doubt they would question any order given to them, even if to spy, disarm, or fire upon a law abiding citizen. get people at the top of these agencies not afraid to give the order, hire people under them that will follow, and there you go.
  21.
  22. just doing a little organizing of the boxes scattered around the house ... found a few more after taking the pics. these are owned by dad, bro, and myself. can you tell we're Glock fans? anybody have an idea on a good way to store these? or something useful I can do with them?
  23. Jan 19 2016. That's the day they all get out.   I believe this happened in Seattle, it mentions it in the article above.
  24. I often find myself thinking "gee ... why do YOU need my phone number?" If I can't come up with anything reasonable, I say no. It confuses a lot of people. It also confuses them when you ask WHY they want your number.
  25. Gotta say, I wouldn't be comfortable with this either. It's one thing if I'm purchasing an item from them that requires my ID. If not, I think I should be told about it. Call me paranoid, but I give fake (or an intentionally silly email) information to any store that wants my phone number, zip code, email, etc. It's not that I think the world is out to get me, but I don't want random emails, phone calls, marketing flyers in the mail from just anywhere. I realize some of the stores send out reasonable stuff, but how am I to know they don't sale the marketing list to other companies that sale things I'm not interested in. I'm already uncomfortable with all the places that keep and store my information (doctor's, retail shops, government, etc.), and whose security measures I'm not knowledgeable about. I just don't trust that my info is somewhere that is secure (see recent SC tax records hack).
