  4. There is an alarm clock,a Bible, and a Glock sitting on the bed stand here in my Atlanta hotel room. Next time ill pay more attention to the reviews. :-\
  5. Dont discount the Kahr CW9, my girlfreind loves hers. EDIT: I love it too, may have to buy another when her permit finds its way to the mailbox.
  6. Here is an honest answer, MANY carry a spyderco or benchmade to be in the "IT" crowd. Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....... they are just like you and I, they picked out a knife that serves their purpose. They just so happen to prefere those brands. I prefere the Kershaw Ken Onion folders, I have several, and do not believe that my prefered knife can do any more or any less task than their spyderco, benchmades,or your gerber. If it works for you then carry it.
  7. Did the same thing on my third trip hunting. Dad never knew how close the bullet got, which was about 2 foot, told him the gun had a misfire. That gun was was a hand me down .22 and had problems from day one so my story was plausable. On my thirteenth birthday I got to pick out my gun new from KMART.Still have that old ruger 10/22 today. My little .22 probably would not have hurt nearly as bad as the .357 magnum that ripped through his arm.(NOT BY ME lol.)
  8. fixed... but i cat edit your posts.
  9. You guys are missing the main point of the movie. EDIT: OOPs
  10. I only know of one militia in TN. 1sttnrifles.net They dont seem to be trouble(so dont get on there trying to start crap),just some like minded people sharing ideas.
  11. The begining of that was horrifiying.I couldnt even imagine that kind of intensity coming from a close friend or familiy member.
  12. More From the Kool Aid drinkers. Im 21 5'11 and 180 pounds. My glock 19 sits silently in my waitband unknown to others in the room. Buy a Glock and get your drink on with us. My girlfriend preferes the M&P subcompact, but you cant go wrong with an xd either.
  13. OOOOLD..but still crazy.
  14. Got a new rifle today, but to be honest I dont know what the hell i bought. I know who makes all the furniture but im having some problems identifying the Upper, bolt, lower parts kit, and the barrel. Can you help me out? Ill start with the upper.(It has the keyhole which is cerro forge(i think) but know nothing beyond that) Heres the bolt, there are no markings. The lower Parts are only marked with two S in squares, the trigger is very short and crisp The barrel is my biggest mystery, only markings are 556 just in front of the triangle sight and the mercedes style emblem on the feed ramp Any help would be appreciated.Ill get some good pics of the gun when i have some better lighting. http://www.flickr.com/photos/46398866@N05/-more photos
  15. Im afraid he may have tried to citizen arrest me, since cameras are not allowed at the shows for some reason.
  16. The douch bag vender with a carry permit badge is kind of an ass. I pick up an AR on his table and visually inspect it. He walks over and hear is our conversation. ME:Is this a chrome lined barrel? Him:I dont know Me: do you know the twist? Him: nope Me: I see it has has a double star upper,is the complete upper double star?like the barrel and rails? Him:I dont know, dont really know anything about it as i took it in on a trade Me: well how much are you looking for it? Him: eight and a quarter Me: well im not really looking to spend that much im trying to stay around 750. Him: Have a nice day.. Me (thinking to my self): Thats too bad cause if we could have meet price wise in the middle i still would have taken it) my buddy was looking to buy about 1500 rounds of 223, i was wanting some of their 9mm ammo, and my girlfreind was was interested in somthing else. Needless to say our business went elsewhere, and i still went home with an AR.
  17. My girlfriend shot one today and prefered it over the glock 26,my glock 19,the XD-M,and the subcompact xd. Im a glock FANBOY but cant deny she was shooting well with the m&p.
  18. If i can find a carbine before this class,i will definatly be comming provided my work schedule. Wow this year is looking awsome, Girlfriends HCP course on the 9th,possibly the carbine class, and both the girlfreind and I are allready excited about the defensive handgun course.
